  • hay i have a question. :=) can u play both Decks while both Faders are up ?

  • I have a Toshiba laptop with Windows 7. Unfortunately, when I record from the DXMUSB01 it does not record in stereo. Even with the stereo settings on my software, it just puts the same output in both channels. Tried with another laptop on Windows 7, it does the same - any help please? Thanks.

  • waste of time that jus buy a cheap all in one controller cost you a lot less to get started plus you get software included

  • hey are you broadcasting with this equipment? how about the delay of streams are you listen to the stream or to vdj if you listen to the stream like me how you can fade out VD for not listen to 2 sounds in delay.

  • thank you m8 im gna buy it nw was in 2 minds hw it wrked but you convinced me nw thx again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @simmsy2k pleased to have helped - Njoy

  • can any1 tell me the polarity of the power input lost cables and got new ones but dont want to blow ma mixer !! cheers

  • I have the next configuration:

    Inputs: none.

Outputs: external mixer. left deck: first card / right deck: second card.

Sound card: 2 cards. Speackers (2-USB Audio CODEC) and Speakers (USB Audio CODEC).

I use this configuration of the sound card because the program don´t recognize the mixer.

My laptop is DELL Studio 15 and have Windows 7 home Premium.

  • I have some problems with the Numark DXM01 USB Mixer, I can't configure my mixer with the virtual dj program.

The problem is that when I use virtual dj and I put two songs, each one in each channel, when I use headphones to listen to the song for channel 2,

is only heard in the right speaker of the headphones, however when I put the channel 1, is heard from the two speakers.

Also, I can't use the master mode of the headphones, I can only use the mode CH1-CH2.

  • can you connect two turntables to this mixer to control tracks from virtual dj? Thanks

  • @InvasionSound no sorry its just has usb inputs, you will need something like a serato sl1 or tracktor box to do that in which case forget vdj the latency is rubbish compared to the professional applications. for an inexpensive solution check out touch dvs its suppossed to be good.

  • @foulmouthc1 Thank you ;)

  • @InvasionSound you can record from the USB ports BUT im not sure if that only lets you record the master or PFL (depending on which USB port you use) dunno if you can send one channel to each USB port but i'll try it at some point. you could possibly send one channel to the the USB master out and the other through the headphone socket to the soundcard in the PC then the PC's line out to the amp. have to use the mouse to Xfade then unless you have multiple outputs on the PC and a second mixer.

  • Hey i just got a numark M1usb mixer but i cant figure out how to use it with vdj. both decks play on the same channel of my mixer. what am i doing wrong? im on a macbook btw

  • yo does vdj work with any kinda mixers or theyre specific ones like i know they have to be usb but does any mixer work with vdj

  • any mixer with at least two soundcards/usb's will work with vdj. Also consider an external sound card like a DJio or vestax tank and that way you can use any mixer regardless of usb.

  • You just answered all my questions haha

    THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO!!

  • Nice Video! Tnx!
