Also it though Sony did stop production, the ratings weren't stellar and that is due in no small part to a collapse of kids WB the network it was currently on and the move to whatever Disney channel it was on. Disney probably made a good deal and Sony did what it must. Disney got the cartoon rights and instead of keeping the show running abandoned it for another.

Blame Sony, Marvel and Disney for this shows demise. Sony returned the rights to Marvel while the Disney and Marvel merger happened. Blame Sony for giving the rights back and blame Disney for giving this show no advertisement whatsoever.

Out of the many physically impossible things that Parker does hehe using webbing as brakes takes the cake. When he did that in Spider-Man 2 I thought 'shouldn't his arms have come right out of the sockets as soon as the webs make contact?'. Still, it looks cool so I guess I'm just being petty.
