Bonnaroo is the most overrated festival ever! I knew somebody who went, and told me everyone stunk and were stoned out of there damn minds. At least it's no were as pathetic as a anime or furry convention.
the fountain uses the same water throughout the duration of bonaroo. aka youre pretty much having unprotected sex with everyone. use the water troughs to wash/cool off.
this feastie is for birds. all spun out custys trien to buy drugs and rip people off. thats what happens when u put such diversity in the feastie line up . go pay 10 for a balloon fuckin custys , stick to good feasties walkarussa 10 thousand lakes rothbury . or any phish feastie ,or GD feasties thats where the fam is

I actually met one of the organizers... and the way this girl put it was this festival is as big as woodstock 69. as far as the music goes it sucks alot of ass.. there better off getting cover bands to play 60's tunes. Nothing can compare to the music at the woodstock festival... now it's just commercialized love songs, rap, and hip hop... there better off getting a few cover bands in the mix or atleast John Frusciante to Rip it up like Hendrix did...
i can live without showering. Infact, i can live with all the aspects of the average festival. but i cant live with being treated like a customer and nothing more. Going to bonarro is like walking into a walmart.

you guys complain a lot. noone is making you go to Roo. I've been to plenty of festivals throughout the country, from 90$ a ticket ones, to the expensive ones like roo. They are what you make of them. No one forced me to go, if I go once and its not for me, I just don't buy a ticket for the next year. I've been to Roo three times, sometimes the bands outweigh the cost, sometimes they don't.

Darlin I've been to many. From three day raves back in the day, to coachella, to the free Bluegrass festival at Golden Gate. I'm not saying corporate industry isn't a part of Roo but there are festivals far more guilty of bleeding the vibe. Do your homework and you'll see, as huge as it is, Bonnaroo still has a backbone.

What I'm trying to communicate is that despite all veins of greed (and yes I do recognize them) Roo still offers a platform for you to create your dream concert. As far as the vending booths go I can't comment for I've never viewed a fest from that angle. But take a look at Burning man, their tickets are almost $300 this year. It's happening all over, and sadly, it's the nature of the beast. It sucks but the price of fests are rapidly growing.
