Oh, wow. I remember watching this on CBC a couple of times in the late 70s. It actually was a pretty good movie. If anyone knows where to get it, let me know -- I'd love to see it again.
I saw this movie when I was 11 years old and have always remembered it. The title came to me this evening and then I found this trailer. Wish I could see the whole movie.
Holy cow! I think I used to watch this as a kid on tv, either on City or CBC. Its always the forgotten films that come back again, hee hee. I doubt this was released on VHS even. Too bad. Thanks for the blast from the past.
This was released by Video Classics here and I've been trying to find it for ages. A small picture of the old VHS cover art was inside of the Riel clamshell that I showed in the Video Classics Gold video I did a while ago. I didn't realise it was a Canadian production at the time until this trailer surfaced.
Well at least now I know the title. I never could recall it, but the first half stuck in my mind. The whole bit where the husband leaves his wife in the wrecked car, actually says goodbye I think. If I see any copies here, I'll know what it is, thanks.

After watching this I'm confused about why Brian teaches us not to use blood or violence in our films.
