Enjoyed your thoughts. I have similar beliefs except I believe that it is about God (first) and us. I believe that God wants us to know that He cares, and specifically how He cares, and His plans for the human race. At times any one of us can be like a mirror of God's love. But the concept of love originates from God, not us. God is love. Knowing that takes the pressure off of each of us, and then we can get those child-like needs for love met by the One who created us, our Heavenly Father.

Our family values are all but gone,from what people see on TV and media,especially women-most TV shows are geared towards women! Their is alot of anti-family anti-man programing on TV! Also what the anti-family court system tells people.in this western society people think what you have and do is what makes you,i noticed when i date most are looking to see what they can get and how much of it,money,love,attention or whatever,take take take and never give! we are all babies, yes! i have been thinking about this over time and specifically the last few days, in traffic with angry drivers everywhere. they are just children..hurt children.

"learn to die while you're still alive" -- very inspiring. i've been reading about near-death experiences and they really help to show examples of this, when im having a hard time seeing the big picture. when this life is over, we will see how important LOVE is...and flows freely from that perspective

The divorce rate in Dallas in 70%. Our family values are all but gone. The old testament is very clear about divorce for a reason. People now get divorced out of boredom or "falling out of love." What? Abuse, yes. Infidelity, yes. Falling out of love & divorce with children? Why would I marry a woman that got divorced for that reason? I would be a fool to marry a woman that didn't know true love or have respect for what marriage is.

i was just reading your comment and i wanted to share a perspective that people often end up with each other to learn lessons as well. everyone has their own path and "destiny" in this life, and some are more destined than others. but many times people come together to learn specific lessons from each other (maybe heal past karma as well) and then when that is done, it's time to move on. it is less common for people to find the perfect match to live their whole life with, but it's special.

@MrNed55, in theory I see where you are coming from and do believe that we have to experience hardships in order to grow and that something bad may prepare us for something better - however I believe the bible (with respect to anyone that does not) and I'm fairly confident God is NOT going to put divorce in our path to prepare us for something in the future. That is our own sin that we create. That is us being disobedient and expressing our own free will and marrying for the wrong reasons.

I thought for a minute you were talking about all of Hollywood. Which is ironic, the common theme of successful actors is the loss of their father due to death or divorce (watch Inside the Actor's Studio). It would make sense that these people gravitate towards the art and self-expression. If they can become someone else via acting then maybe they'll be lovable and their father will accept them and come back in their lives.

hey i just bought my first Ultimate Meal about a month ago and just finished my 1200g container. i think it is really good. i havent used it enough to really validate this, but it is filling, it does seem to have the important nutrients that it says it does. tastes like slightly sweet pea soup when just with water. i tried blending with apple+banana, but man that was TOO SWEET. i could not drink so much sugar so i like it better with just water.

hmmm...it can be on the light side if you need a lot of calories like after working out and such. depends on your metabolism mostly but from my experience, when i was really hungry and hadnt ate or drank anything filling for hours, i could drink a glass of Ultimate Meal (and always followed it up with a second glass of just water to clean out the residue in my glass) and still be slightly hungry. it definitely is filling but if really need calories, a fruit/veggie/bread/etc. can help if needed
