Had this phone for a year (on 18 month contract with o2) and was great, good slide and great touch screen (the touch screen is not "heat senstive" meaning you can use a stylus to use on the screen or your nails etc-so you dnt need to take off your gloves to use!) The only downside is that I've heard theres lots of problems with the software and I've just dicovered that myself -it has now stoped sending txs, I was given an even better phone (as they couldnt fix it) see Nokia E7

just giving you a bit tutorial front small is a bright light emotion detector for controlling the keyboard once your are in the dark area the light of keyboard will switch on when you in open area at morning or brigthen area keyboard light will automatic turn off

My vivaz pro loses 5-10 minutes every week. never dropped it and it wont turn on. I tried updating, it fails at the installation section. Can't turn off 3G on this phone. With all my problems the support was of no help even the most simple problems like turning off 3G. I have always been a Sony Ericsson fan but I've had this phone for only a few weeks right out of the box and now its broken. Others have the same problem with no solution as well. Will never get an SE every again.

@mauridaherg the screen on an i phone is more responsive than a vivaz pro and there is no kinetic scrolling except in the media section and you have to double tap every thing because first time it highlights the i con and then second time it enters it

There is something wrong with my phone. I bought this like a month ago and there's something wrong with it. It's like not switching on no matter how many times I press the switch-on button and it keeps blinking. Anyone have any idea how to fix the phone or anything? Because my dad would kill me if he finds out what happened..

@diamondheart1998 have you tried leaving it plugged in? mine did that one day and it turned out the battery had drained during the night and it didn't have enough juice to turn on. you could also try taking the back off and battery out...put it all together and try again. outside of that, it may need a technition.....

bought this phone based on the features(camera, youtube,facebook) and it is not worth it. youtube does not work, and facebook is a pain. 5mp camera is nice, except that it's a pain to get the pics off the phone and they don't send as standard text like on most phones so I can't upload to facebook my pics or text them :( what a waste of money...

@MySponser Yes it is a great phone for it's price I love it everything is great except It is on Symbian not Android but you can get most of the games but It will take some time overall Great phone no issues yet has fallen over 20 times and you can't see a scratch It has a great camera and autofocus you have the money buy this phone I had a chance between the Vivaz Pro and the Iphone 4 and i got the Vivaz and i'm very happy since the Iphone would have been broken by my dog or from falling.

not so much lags but it is quite slow. it takes a few secondes to open up a text message or some other app. Its still one of the best cell phones (non smartphones) you can get. Vivaz Pro and LG Xenon are definatly your 2 best options if you dont want a data plan

@smurfingwiththealien honestly i got the phone and it is great! i gave it to a sibling because i already have a phone to use. the downside to this phone is that i think they stopped making updates for it. wifi works BUT it disconnects every 1 min( no joke) even if you update the phone, it will not fix the issue and sony has not said anything about it yet. it could just be the particular phone i got. the program layouts are pretty smooth. HD video and camera works great. everything is awesome

I was impressed by the stats on this phone before I came across this video, and this video just made me want to get this phone THAT much sooner. Luckily my contract just finished up so I can renew it and get this phone for a mere 75 bucks (retails for 275 in Canada). Looks like my only complaint with this would be the touchscreen is a bit hard to press sometimes, but if it wasn't, it'd be that much more fragile, and I'd be worse off. Thanks for the great review!
