It is not Maleficent. It is Merlin's Dragon. And the design is based on the Disney-movie "The Dragonslayer".

It's actually based on the Dragon from Sleeping Beauty you know the movie from which the Damn castle is based on. Oh and PS, the Dragon Slayer was Paramount not Disney. DO YOUR RESEARCH before making bold statements like that talking out of your ass.

take a look at photos of the Dragon from Dragonslayer again, Oh and Wikipedia and other locations was where i got the info about this being the Queen from Sleeping Beauty soooooo see how i just took your wiki info and turned in on it's head. Sorry i didnt remember it was a Disney Co Produced you know cause i was likely not born yet in 82 when this movie came out.

u think that is scary! i went in there and buloo the bear(from the jungle book) was there!!!! and he scared me so much i ran away and he chased after me!!! i lost him when i got to the castle well u dont blame me really i dident expeced a big blue bear randomly in a dragons cave. i dont think im going in there again! and then in the pearde he cept stearing at me! creepy

actually the guests stand quite near the dragon. you can reach the dragon's face easily. i think it would be very dangerous to add fire effects...
