The SCV isnt actually oversised. There is an entire person in that cockpit.

The SC2 unit size difference isn't amazing - a huge battlecruiser with hundreds of men in is a large as a few 1 man vikings.

Banshee's like a helicopter, which can be quite much targeted by ground target that can aim upward.
