  • Got to solo with Jeff Coffin at peaks festival last year, best weekend of a sax player's life

  • @drkfnx600 oh yeah? was it the best sax experience you've shared?

  • @drkfnx600 How long did it take you to pick it up proficiently? I currently am a bass/guitar player. But I would love to learn Sax.

  • These guys are so awesome. The skill level in the band is sickening - unless you're listening to them. Soooo good live. This is the first tune I heard of theirs, and it might be my favourite.

  • i miss when the music video was on youtube...

  • Funk. Banjo.

  • the greatest bass solo i have ever heard by the greatest bassist of all time noone comes anywerr near wooten hes an innovater and by far the greatest ever

  • @humanjukebox58 They pretty much all reinvented their instruments. Bela like you already mentioned; Victor doing things with the bass that haven't been done before; Future Man literally inventing his own instrument; and Howard Levy is a piano wiz that also does amazing things when handed a harmonica.

  • i dint get the name but this song iz awsome

  • Just simply amazing!

  • this song always makes me think of the axe gang in kung fu hustle i dont why, but anyway it rocks!!!

  • Every minister I ever knew was sinister. :P

  • 3 people had their speakers muted

  • saw them live yesterday, most amazing thing i have ever heard in my life!

  • victor is a beast!

  • Thanks for sharing

  • I'm glad that such virtuosic musicians are humble and cool. I found an old guitar mag and it had an interview with Robert Fripp. This guy refers to himself in the third person, won't do interviews with his band, won't hang out after the show to meet fans, and sounds kind of like a dick. I mean you expect some kind of ego with that guy, but damn, not a superego. He might have Axl Rose beat in the ego department.

  • @Zipperhedd did you hang around at the end? They all came down on stage right and were shaking hands and taking pictures and crap

  • @Zipperhedd you were at the TO showing too? My father and I flew in from Halifax to see 'em. Wicked show :D

  • That Harmonica gives me chills every time. I was introduced to the Soprano Sax version, but this one is so much better

  • LOVE PLAYING THIS ON BASSS! errr rather trying to play this on my bass....

  • @whitelightnin265 Oh yeah, this song is great to play. I have been working on it for years now and I'm at the Victor Wooten thumb pick+pluck technique part. Only problem is my current bass (Fender Precision) only has 20 frets and I need a better cutaway for the higher fretting parts. Good thing I'll be getting a Fodera Yin Yang Standard soon, will make some parts of this song much easier for me. Still probably my favourite song to play nonetheless.

  • gesuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

  • greatest... just heard it on the radio. amazing!

  • 2 dislikes !????

  • @KincaidBass They're deaf, that's the only possible reason I can come up with. Their can't posibly be another reason as to why ANYONE would click this video only for them to dislike it. Unless if they're ignorant, in which case, they have no friends if they can't learn to be able to have some respect for other's interests, and not just their own. Either that, or maybe they're allowed to have a dislike for something and that should not have to interfere with our lives. But whatever, eh?

  • @Denthedragon Maybe they were afflicted by a harmonica-playing serial killer in their youth.

    It could happen.

  • @DrCruel so true.

  • vic wooten slappa da bass

  • i listen to this for the bass, not the banjo >< :'D

  • I LOVE this song!!!

  • Can anyone tell me where i can get a copy of this song it was a music video probably put out by the record company of this song it use to be on youtube now its gone i cant find it.

  • i still can't believe i saw victor Wooten LIVE!!!!

  • badass bass player

  • @louwisa Victor wooten, he is probobly the best bass player out there

  • What album is this from?

  • @Lieopluradon There s/t album.

  • Im seeing them live on the 30th, im so excited!!!

  • @Lieopluradon- Hi, how was the show? I'll be seeing them on the 4th...

  • @anina114 you taught me about these guys and theyre awsome thanks so much! ps the bass just melted my face off!

  • ughh i hate this song, i have to listen to it everyday for dance! haha

  • @spazmonkey07 u can't hate this song

  • 57 likes 0 dislikes........ win

  • Good on ya Sean!! My musical tastes have changed a lot as I have aged too.......

  • Banjo + funk =this :) :)

  • Doesn't get any better. I have an orgasm in my brain whenever I hear Victor Wooten play that fantastical bass of his. Yum.

  • Ooooh.....sooo good!

  • I have always enjoyed the Flecktones.

  • this song made me learn banjo like i was possessed, death metal guitarist for years, but man the ole 5 string saved my life musically

  • @Seanpatrick666 what, are you implying death metal can't be good too?

  • i lisent banjo was used in jazz before electric guitars :P

  • @Seanpatrick666 ive played the banjo for about 6 yrs now, tht thing saves your life!!

  • @Seanpatrick666 are you insinuating that people who hears death metal has no "musical life"

  • hit it victor

  • A very unique piece. Another must see live group. Very friendly and humble musicians.

  • @mfish618 I remember reading this comment a year ago and thinking, I have to see this band.

I'm going to see them today :D

  • @ClumsySandbocks You're in for a treat. I rate this band in the top 5 concerts I've been too!! If you hang around after the show you'll likely be able to meet the band and have your CD autographed.
