I'm sure that you all know that the chinese automaker Geely bought Volvo recently. People, don't freak out Volvo will still be made in Sweden and in Belgium and have its own board of directors so it will be Volvo's own thinking. And Geely will only be reciving parts and technologes from Volvo, not the other way around.

lol me too! I could do with out that odd/ugly looking rear window. I could kinda care less about what they do with the rear of the body, but that back window needs to go. The rear taillights might need to go too. Why not Lambo doors on the front, if you are going to do the funky doors on the back?

this s60 looks great. but im kidna skeptical about how the rear doors will function if you need to get out fast.

those rear doors wont be on the production version unfortunately. Neither will the glass central console. The rest of the car should be fairly unchanged.

Current Volvo range is very nice. How they have changed from boxy to curvy.

I just cream cheesed my pants. I own a 93 volvo with 350,000 miles and no serious problems. I have owned it for almost 2 years and I'm hooked for life. When people say they run forever it's true. The world record holder for most miles on a car is a Volvo owner. (look it up) I doubt they'll actually make this model any time soon but it is sweet. I wish I had the money for a new one. well I can dream can't I?

I don't quite get the idea of the rear doors. just a heck of a system, but useless and doesn't follow any specific function. the rest? we've all seen it before: CLS, Passat CC, AM Rapide, Porsche Panamera. Nice car though.
