Her voice reached its most amazing heights ever in 1990, but in general, for every era Whitney ever had, she brought this unparalleled energy to her performances and vocals that made her voice as desired as it was, she wasn't just a pretty toned vocalist, her voice and the beauty of it are also defined by Whitney's delivery and personality as a performer.

Exactly right! I always feel that in 1990, her voiced had perfectly matured; it was rich and full then- more so than the 80s- and she had seemed to gain even more control and agility around 90. It is very true that at any point in her career she produced wonderful vocals; her voice seemed to bring justice to every song in every era- as though perfectly matched to the songs at that time.

@dagll Completely agreed! 1990 was Whitney's money year vocally. It was half way in between Whitney's vocal prime too (which spanned 1985-1994), so her voice has brightness and clarity, but maturity and richness at the same time.
