    or em i hearing sounds?

  • So if a Sandman movie ever gets out of development hell, I'm assuming this is the guy they're going to call.

  • This is my favourite song of the whole movie. It's really creey, I can't deny that, it makes my hair stand on end when I listen to it at night. But yet it has some kind of mysterious beauty in it..........and it sounds so........hypnotising.........

  • @darrelsam419 i agree its very nostalagic aswell

  • this is, without a second thought, the most amazing movie i have ever seen.

it has a very beautiful score as well.

  • LOVE this movie and all the songs!

  • when coraline first walks in the other mother is humming this song

  • this song is creepy and relaxing at the same time. i didn't even know that was possible 0_o

  • At 0:45 that is supposed to be the other father saying "Dreaming, Dreaming.", and at 2:00 the "nah nah nah nah nah" or whatever is supposed to be the Other Mother. (I can't believe i just realized this after listening to the song for the 5th time. xD)

  • i don't think it is supposed to be any of the characters.

all of these songs were sung by choirs.

  • loved the BOOK as a kid, and i love the MOVIE just as much!!

  • the song's call: Mechanical Lullaby, for the one who would like to know( Creepy, when she do the coraline doll)

  • no mechanical lullaby is different than dreaming. they sound the same if your not paying attention. but if you listen carefuly there is more humming in this one and the end is different.

  • love the movie

  • My baby loves this movie. He's only 9 months old but whenever he hears this music he crawls in front of the tv and just watches. It's so cute. No matter what mood he's in I'll put this on and he'll settle down.

    I love it too!!

  • haha thats cute but its a little creepy (not ur baby i bet hes really cute!!) cause u gotta understand like this song is creepy but like really enchanting!

  • I kept hearing the word "dreaming" in the background

  • I saw the movie just a few moments ago, and i loved it!^^

  • This is the BEST song ever!!! It's my favourite song in the whole of the Coraline movie! There's something just so unreal about it and I feel like I'm being under the other mother's spell...

Does anyone know where the sheet music for this song can be found?

  • better than knightmare b4 christmas

  • Love this Song!!

  • LOVE THIS MOVIE, LOVE THIS SONG!!!

  • i love this movie and song!

  • 1:03 to 1:05 was the tune the other mother was singing

  • I LOVE THIIIS!!

the songs in the movie give it the perfect amount of creepy and inocence necessary cor Coraline, GOD I LOVE IT!

it's sooooo freaky, much scarier than the other movies that I've seen similar to this one (corpe's bride, nightmare before christamas)

  • Oh ya big time!

  • it's just nice gibberish...i tried to type phonetics: simply twisting listen try to mayte it gently sweetly witchen wisdoffen other family listen gen ooooooh ooooh dreaming, dream dreamer on and on and on and ohh dreaming dream dreamer onadonad oh dreaming, treasson demme fassil dreamer on by a day anor bletein treason treason troral endachesin treason by or and on oh treason treason treason on and on and on ohh (more gibbersish) dream
  • this was an astoundingly beautiful, creepy, moving, wonderful film. And the soundtrack is both creepy and wonderous at the same time. LOVE it!

  • It was an awesome movie!

  • This song is PERFECT for Coraline.

  • it really is.

  • So can you buy Coraline at any book store?

Or what because I want to know which version is better......

(because some books you have 2 order online only...Just wandering)

  • Check the availability at the bookstore's website by entering your zip code.

I personally am reading the original book, and it's very enjoyable, though the movie and the book are very different, they are still both wonderful.

  • Well i got my copy from the school library, so they probably have it at barns and noble or something.

  • I just finished the book Coraline-I'm sure you can find it at any book store.

I can't really decide which one is better, they are both very good in their own ways.

the book is fast paced, while the movie is a bit slower. there are no dolls in the book, or Wybie, but the story is essentially the same. It was a good read! go get it!

  • Both the book and the movie are great in their different ways. I'm glad that the film wasn't a compleat carbon copy of it.

  • @kibalover852 i got mine at barnes and noble

  • i love the music from this movie! does anyone know what language its in? the language itself is just gorgeous! :D

  • I LOVED the movie. It was pure art.

I'll have to read the book

  • The book is real awesome too. :D

  • amazing! thank you for the video <3

  • I just saw this movie toay! BEST MOVIE EVER IN 3D!!!

  • this song is kinda creepy yikes! But I love itt, all of the songs in the movie are sooo good

  • yeah they added alot of stuff like wybie and his grandmother....what?? but the concept with the doll was cool i didnt mind that and yeah the cellar part creeped me out when i read the book

  • what happened in the cellar part? Sorry for asking, i just never read the book.

  • Oh it's fine. But what happens is Coraline gets tricked into searching in a cellar for the ghost souls because the other mother made her think they were in there. So Coraline goes to look but instead runs into her deformed other father who tries to warn her to leave but the other mother takes control and makes him attack Coraline. But they way the book describes the deformed father is just reaallyy creepy and disturbing.

  • how did they describe him

  • It's described kind of similar to how he looks toward the end of the movie, that is if you've seen it. Except it describes him as a swollen deformed "thing" with a hairless head, twig like hands, and miserable looking, with a long frowning face, and wet looking, like a big grub. It said a bunch of other weird stuff about it, but I can't remember it all.

  • That part in the book was really scary.

    o_e

I was hoping to see it in the movie.

But, they didn't put it in.D:

This is a really pretty song.

The music and voices sorta remind me of Enya.=o

  • What part is it?

  • When she gets chased by the other father in the cellar.

    It's in the book.

  • Why don't i rember that?

  • ...I dunno. D:

  • Can anyone else understand the words? Sometimes I catch parts of it (the word "dreaming," for example) but the rest is hard to understand. Is it in another language, or sung on nonsense syllables mostly?

  • It's in french, it has yet to be translated to english if i understand right.

  • ive heard its in french hungarian and also that the composer just plain made up the words to add the eerie tone to the music so i have no idea sry

  • I thought it was gibberish. Henry Selick said it was in an interview.

  • yeah, that was a pretty freaky part in the book. the creepiest part in the movie was probably when the ghost children were talking to Coraline.

  • I think the creepiest was when Other mother turned into a soider!! That was just too creepy! I thought the ghost children would be scarier!!

The movie was a bit out of secuence but it was still incredible!!!

  • this song sounds so cool!

  • what a unique sound, complements a unique movie. If you have not seen it yet be sure to see it in 3D. They charge a little more for the glasses and have the nerve to ask you to return them after the movie but hang on to them because more 3D movies are coming in the future

  • the music kind of reminds me of a series of unfortunate events^_^

  • haha, you're right. :)

  • This is nice, very nice, thank you for the video =]

  • oh-em-gee

    at 2:00 - 2:06

    is that the mom humming??

  • yeah the mom is humming. creepy huh^^
