Oh, look at that. I got goosebumbs. Funny, since I rarely get those from listening to a song. I think that should be enough to tell you how much I adore this version ;) The English version has more powerful voices but there's just this wonderful load of emotion here that really gets to me, I can't explain it.

I find it so confusing. For normal pop songs I normally like English the best. When it comes to Opera Italian or French is the best. But when it comes to musical or synchromisation of animated movies my favorite always are German and Japanese. :) The text ist far better in my opinion and also it sounds the best in these languages. (My own opinion.)

Towards the end, 3:52, she says "giza buyabo, giza buyabo", something in Japanese, then "beso bo." Beso bo is what she says at the very end as well. It means my people, and giza buyabo means I will return, in an African dialect.
