Can you imagine how haunting this would have sounded on the Titanic. It would have been freezing cold, the ship would have been lilting and panic would have been setting in. Certain death awaited and all people could do was try their best to stay alive as long as possible.

Then this would have been playing in the background! How scarily atmospheric would it have been?

It gives a much lonlier and more touch vibe this way.

Aside from the titanic movie, it makes me think of someone who lost the person they loved most. The violin sounds like its crying to me. Beautiful. I wish i could play.

personally i think if you dont relate it to an unhappy event it's quite a beautiful happy piece people just dont realise it is because of the film ti bloody tanic, none the less i feel it's a strongly emotional piece that should be enjoyed in happiness not sadness :D
