Don't get carried away by trash talk in the pre-fight interviews. Most of them are for hyping-up the fight. Dan Hardy, same as Carlos Condit and the other MMA fighters spend a lot of time in the gym, it's a titanic work, they both deserve respect. A KO can come at any time from any fighter. It doesn't take a relly hard punch to knock somebody out. It's in its perfect placement. Like they say: on the button. Perfect aiming + perfect timing.

That was a good fight to watch. Often when you have a US vs UK fighter it makes it exciting cuz both have a lot to prove. Especially Brit fighters... They're often good enough to fight our best, cocky enough to underestimate our fighters and fun to watch get knocked out on their own turf after talking mad shit. Dan Hardy is a good fighter for sure... Many descent fighters come from northern England, but they often got more mouth then they can back up. It's all part of the game, entertainment.

@TheVisionary84 The only reason Americans have more top fighters is because MMA is fairly new in the UK and they don't have wrestling in high school. Considering they have a 10th of the population and not many top gyms I'd say they do incredibly well. Ten years from now UK fighters will be on par with US fighters and we will see many fighters emerging from everywhere else in the world.

That was a good fight to watch. Often when you have a US vs UK fighter it makes it exciting cuz both have a lot to prove. Especially Brit fighters... They're often good enough to fight our best, cocky enough to underestimate our fighters and fun to watch get knocked out on their own turf after talking mad shit. Dan Hardy is a good fighter for sure... Many descent fighters come from northern England, but they often got more mouth then they can back up. It's all part of the game, entertainment.

@TheVisionary84 The only reason Americans have more top fighters is because MMA is fairly new in the UK and they don't have wrestling in high school. Considering they have a 10th of the population and not many top gyms I'd say they do incredibly well. Ten years from now UK fighters will be on par with US fighters and we will see many fighters emerging from everywhere else in the world.

how are those 3 britney "ultimate" fighters who were in the finals doing now? ross pearson lost to cole miller, andre winner lost to nik lentz, wilks lost to matt brown and now claude patrick.

liddell and griffin are the two fighters who suck.
i am just saying that the britney ultimate fighters are not so ultimate because they have been losing to american fighters after the tuf finale, which just reinforces the theory that the american fighters for that tuf series were the worst the ufc could find.

yes forrest griffin sucks, he is slow, which is why it was so easy for anderson silva to ko him.
liddell sucks do you know what his losing streak is up to now? its like 7 out of the last 8 fights he has lost.

forest griffin has only beat shogun rua whose knees were screwed up and rampage jackson who couldnt figure out how to check leg kicks. the other two top fighters forest fought he lost to(rashad evans, anderson silva)
the other fighters forest beat were mid level fighters. forest is a mid level fighter.
liddell has lost 5 out of 6 fights, he sucks.
