lmao illumanite has the most expermentals and the best even though they are kindof overspecilized. they dont have the burst damamge of other fractions but they have the most dps. and navy isnt worth shit agianst 10 properly managed sea hunters. uef is bull because there fighters and bomers are weaker then weedoboth and there expements are week as crap exept flying fortress. say illumante are weak after you face loyaty guns and UC spam. cybans are now OP cuase 15 monkeylord in 20 mintes= bacerape

Supcom FA was so much better. More units, more potential, bigger maps more destruction and was more balanced. Supcom II is good too, but after FA I expected something even bigger. I'm kind of disappointed somehow. Still UEF fucks all with their artillery and navy and the cybran with they flying units. Aeon has no navy and to my oppinion the weakest of all 3 fractions. Former Units which were absolutely devastating reduced to low damage....

supcom 2 is all most as good as supcom FA but I like both equally, but what i like supcom 2 is you dont need to wait 2 hours to get a major exp and a match gose by faster thaN supcom FA. Also research is a nice addon

aside from the noah unit cannon (love it), the cleaned up ui, and better graphics, this was worse than the original, although that said, if you are new to the series,get this one first so you know the story for the third incase you ragequit from how bad the game is compared to the first

@Soulsphere001 the graphics are more...cartoonish in style in supcom 2,but they are better, and i'll admit, it's alot easier on the computer processor even in large games, and it plays alot faster, but comparitevely, the lack of a realtech tree makes it worse in alot of ways

I bought it some time back, but only played 91 minutes of it. I'm reinstalling it now, though, and maybe I'll get into it this time.

Yeah, I'm not sure I'm please with the way they implemented research in the game. Plus, the economy change doesn't make a lot of sense. I liked the fact that you or an opponent could stall your economy.

One thing I do is like the idea of being able to upgrade existing units. I never did like being forced to rebuild almost everything.

Your in for a world of disappointment. I was an original beta tester for Supcom1 back in Oct 06 and have played since then, I love it, its the best thing for me since total annihilation. This, THING, that someone called "supcom2" is not Supcom 2, it does not deserve to be a part of the franchise. Its a deeply compromised wasted game thats had a bucket of water added to its mix to make it easier for console kiddies to swallow. Its a betrayal of a loyal fan base.

Player review however tell different stories. They replace the old tier tech system with direct research tech tree, you research your experimentals faster than previos game, just that building they will be costly both economy & more importantly-time. So, your frontline offense & defense will always be the basics, and they can even bring down experimentals with upgrades and tactics. This game is more towards to how you fields your army & not how fast you reach tier tech then got the game enders.

The King Kriptor can withstand a nuke, it will render him immobile for 3 secs, but a nuke only cuts it health in half. and the best part is, this experimental has 37500 health points, but it regenerates constant at a rate of 250 points per sec. So if its not constant be attack, you're just wasting units. (and even this unit can be carried by the experimental transport)

ok for every one that has doubts about some of the power of the experimentals, the king kriptor (UEF) is the answer against the colussos. Its more then twice the price of fatboy, and it has two weaknesses, it cant go antiair and it cant shoot while walking. Apart from that, the exp assault bot, has two major pulse weapons with splash damage, three; three-barrel guns en a spinning head that fires tactical missiles. this machine is serious unit on battflefield,

Oh yes, its rediculous that it can withstand a nuke, but not an ACU death explosion!?!? How much damage are we talking about? 30000 or 25000?

Love it like all experimental units, but my personal favorite are the Soul Reaper II & Megalith II. And yes, I'm a Cybran player. XD

A kriptor can withstand a commander blast with ease.. a head is always on the shoulder, not between, the command can be in the chest, but a head is a head, always on top. the megalith is not that strong, and i was a cybran player, but they cancelled out the spiderbot and that is a shame, he was my favorite exp.

@FlippieX Hmm, sorry cause I haven't played the first SC & Forge Alliance. Our point of view maybe a lot different. Megalith is complelty useless when alone, but in a long range harassment attack and support, its formidable if well supported, besides, you can't just use Megalith alone like the first game, right? Just like Fatboy. Throughout the game, smaller unit will always have an important role. Thats why most tech benefits the basic "puny" unit and not experimentals.

@willychong8921 that could make a huge difference. In supcom1 and also in FA. The experimentals were the rulers of the battlefield. They were incredible strong, but those also took long to build and were so much more expensive. for example a galatic colossus only had to shoot for 2 sec at a commander to destroy it. Megalith didnt had lasers.

@willychong8921 But the megalith (FA) never was that strong. The most famous exp was the spiderbot (cause it was in the trailer), it could fire anti-air, torpedo's, normal shots and had a huge laser on top, it could also make itself invisible on radar.
