How about a passive protest? In other words, nobody does anything during the time of the protest. In other words no one works, no one shops, no one banks, no one goes out to eat. The only businesses that run are nursing homes and hospitals and only emergency's for the hospitals. The problem I have with street protest and armed rebellion is our more volunable people, our elderly? Our handicapped, where will they end up in a SHTF sinario?

I think the millions of people in DC, though I would love to see it, might be too volatile and easily provacateured. I diagree only for this reason. You are correct most every person has Sunday off. So does business and politics. Standing in a free speech zone and protesting will do little good. Any credit card or other service offers we get in the mail from big banks get marked "return to sender - unsolicited mail - waste of TARP/taxpayer money" and gets returned to these large banks. If everyone starts doing this w/ the large banks, people will also start taking notice. Just stop sending these big corporations your money and giving them long term control over your life.
If we do an financial boycott of certain financial institutions, we could get off to a great start. Everyone could move their banking to a local credit union (all are member-owned - no shareholders). Nowadays credit unions have very large fields of membership - almost anyone can get into their local credit union. We can stop doing any business with large banks. Stop using their credit cards, their bank accounts, apply for mortgages w/ credit unions and not w/ these large banks.

Demonstrations might help. Better still, Kill this beast by starving it. Stop paying taxes. Your paying for your own enslavement & possibly termination. Withdraw funds from big financial institutions. Don't fund corrupt corporations. Dont comply with fictitious laws. Pay no heed to malevolent statutes. Be self sufficient in food & energy. Form strong communities. Deal in gold & silver or barter. Hold officials to account in de jure courts of the people. Engage in peaceful non compliance.
Mass protest might work but honestly if you really wanted to send a message aswell as force a change in the right direction I would strongly suggest voting in a third party for every seat of congress and the senate. Especially in states with representatives that have been in office for more then 2 terms. A grassroots movement would be difficult but the potential rewards make it worth it. A hodgepodge of non- Republicrats would make it difficult for them to proceed with there plans.

I think the seeds of dissent are inherently in everyone. Even those who are not within the communities that we talk in are effected (i.e. those that many call sheeple or not woken up). But what we need is to propose a solution and then shout this at the top of our lungs.
This solution must come from the people and be backed by the people. We should not leave this up to politicians. They will do what is in the interest of themselves and the people who will put them in power.

In the Netherlands we also are thinking of mass obstruction of the business as usual by taking out most of our money from the banks, stop buying what is not necessary, being out in the streets as much as possible to warn people, try to block as much as possible all that can be slowed down to get peoples attentention to let it grow slowly to a nationwide consciousness and get as many to join till the economy and bankers maybe give up.
Actions like this have to take place everywhere, mass gatherings as in Washington 2 days ago were a great sign but the majority of people forgets it in a day.
And Naomi is right, only when everybody joins in a mass demonstration it will work, as history has proven. But in those days there were no computers and "everything" really halted in contrary to our days where computers keep bankers and economy doing their work.
So indeed the banks have to feel it, credit companies have to feel it (they are bankrupt anyway). With china going for gold and cashing their derivatives I see banks and/or stockmarket closing anyway.

I said that in our digital times the protest shouldn't be only on the streets but on the digital systems as well. Especially the bankers as government systems use them to control us and the least that can be done is refusing to use them or overload the systems to stop them. In no way agressive like hacking just like the streetprotests are there to show the power in a peacefull way there must be ways to show that power of the people in digital systems.
Whatever we do, think the likeliest success is going to be something that tons of people can do easily and that they would feel was beneficial to them and empowering. If we undertake individual actions at the same time, it doesn't matter where you live, what your work schedule is, etc. Rallies and demonstrations are not always the methods the majority will participate in. But, this is just my two cents.
We could make a bigger impact by pledging to pay-down our credit card debt for those credit cards as soon as possible. Use any available extra money, sell things in garage sales, use your tax returns. The credit card issuers will get alot of their money back, maybe preventing job losses, but their profits will diminish. One of the ways we are controlled so much is by debt - credit cards, car loans, mortgages, etc. We can make a powerful statement & take control of our lives at the same time.
I'd say we should set a date to cut-up our credit cards before Thanksgiving. Send a message that we will not be using our credit cards during the holiday season and beyond - no interchange fees, interest to be charged, etc. = no Christmas for the credit card banks. Yes, people in the credit card industry could lose their jobs, but it's not our job to spend to our detriment to keep their jobs going. That's the whole problem w/ our consumer based economy. We count on spending and not producing.
Gotta start by building an exploratory committee. Then identify donors, then put together plans to bring those people together using the money they donated not only for travel but other logistics like signs etc... If you could get all the Ron Paul people to donate 5 dollars that would give us 25m. Im sure we could make a brazen entry into the political world.
Do you really think the quarter million people that went to Woodstock could afford the weekend up there? Millions did stay home and agreed on their couch and watched it. It was a calling, an exodus. That's oKay we need people to wish they went too. Fliers was a step already that apparently hit the Media hard. Alex jones' Obama Joker from Batman. How about a passive protest? In other words, nobody does anything during the time of the protest. In other words no one works, no one shops, no one banks, no one goes out to eat. The only businesses that run are nursing homes and hospitals and only emergency's for the hospitals. The problem I have with street protest and armed rebellion is our more volunable people, our elderly? Our handicapped, where will they end up in a SHTF sinario?

Additional possibilities for micro revolution actions in DC would be small, but growing symbolic media-targeted actions, with the model sort of like Cindy Sheehan's Camp Casey. Not so big that there is any reason for the blackboots to be even in the mix, but potent enough to grow international media exposure.
An example of this would be a daily broadcast teach-in/sit-in/redress of grievances across from the White House, the Capitol and/or the Supreme Court. This could be broadcast live.

I think the millions of people in DC, though I would love to see it, might be too volatile and easily provacateured. Meditation groups are so powerful. My angelic/pleiaian walk in friend who is here for the possible upcoming times, is a protector. I diagree only for this reason. You are correct most every person has Sunday off. So does business and politics. Standing in a free speech zone and protesting will do little good. No matter how many of us there are and no matter how loud we scream we will accomplish little. The MSM will label us as cooks and under exaggerate our numbers. People must converge from many locations without any notification reaching anyone but the protesters. You will not get a license to protest so the only thing is to overwhelm with numbers. Must be non- violent or you will lose. If this gets too organized it will be crushed in advance. Operate and plan very loosely. Avoid communication that can be traced. This must be done with fuzzy logic. Don't communicate specific numbers or agendas or purpose,just show up and everyone protests as they see best

Idaho is so backwoods - if any of this shit went down here - the guns come out baby! People here in Idaho would fight and shoot, if need be, to protect there freedoms!
I personally know several hundred people who would pull out weapons if they were forced to do any of the stuff you are talking about with the vaccinations, bracelets, etc, etc.
Freedom and Weapons is what they will find in Idaho - and these people would proudly die for either!

If something does get organized, I'm there!! That's all there is to it!! I am thinking though our president wants violence as he keeps doing things that he knows is pissing off Americans!! Taking the missle defense system down is as bad as him bowing to that, ummm, well person in the middle east! Stop paying taxes, stop paying credit card bills, start living off the land, and tell them to get lost or die if they infringe on my property or freedom!!! PERIOD EXCLAMATION no QUESTION!!

and btw, folks need to keep in mind the new terrorism laws. some of the talk about blowing stuff up and these kinds of things can very easily get you a terrorist tag. it will be a cold day in hell that i dont fight against forced vaccinations, rfid bracelets, and the like.......but, i have very little to lose and im willing to put it on the line. I suggest we pick one day and make it somewhat local for everyone. I can't make it to washington, but i can make it to my state capital. everyone, on the same day, protest outside their prospective state capital. put pressure on the state governments so they are forced to put pressure on those above them. use the system as it was intended and make our elected officials accountable, like they should be!!!!

Wow, some really great ideas here. My favs is everyone going to their capitols, but be a jump ahead on the comments that we'll be labeled. Already have signs, call us what you want, but you know we know the truth. And the guns to come signs.

Stopping the madness peacefully would be ideal, I agree. We need to look back into history. People peacefully protested Hitler in the beginning, but in the end it took a huge Army to stop him. With the "mass depopulation" coming our strength in numbers may be a moot point very soon. Our window of opportunity seams to be closing rapidly. From the looks of things if you say "no I do not want this flu shot" they are going to physically grab you and inject you. At that point it could be to late.

Plan for what if's or just incase. What if they give people the vaccine, then they release a virus to kill all those who did not take it. The people who take it being the (chipped) sheep and the people who did not take it being us (who will die soon, maybe). We are the problem, so they will kill us first. How do we cure our own Bird flu or what ever is thrown at us. Plan for survival. Protest is just spitting in the wind.

Look into the history of vaccines, to me it seems that the vaccine would be what they use to release the virus into the population. I liked the site vaccinationdebate(dot)com for info on vaccinations. The best defense against viruses would be to eat well and go out into the sun for a little bit every day for the vitamin D.

No matter what leader figure you find or how convincing the information you pass on is, you won't get people to act without that incident you want to avoid. Sadly I'm sure you know that incident IS what you need to get people to move and organize. Just prepaire to weather out whatever happens and then organized with whoever is left standing to see what you do then. The people who won't listen to us already chose so. Any credit card or other service offers we get in the mail from big banks get marked "return to sender - unsolicited mail - waste of TARP/taxpayer money" and gets returned to these large banks. If everyone starts doing this w/ the large banks, people will also start taking notice. Just stop sending these big corporations your money and giving them long term control over your life.

If we do an financial boycott of certain financial institutions, we could get off to a great start. Everyone could move their banking to a local credit union (all are member-owned - no shareholders). Nowadays credit unions have very large fields of membership - almost anyone can get into their local credit union. We can stop doing any business with large banks. Stop using their credit cards, their bank accounts, apply for mortgages w/ credit unions and not w/ these large banks.

Demonstrations might help. Better still, Kill this beast by starving it. Stop paying taxes. Your paying for your own enslavement & possibly termination. Withdraw funds from big financial institutions. Don't fund corrupt corporations. Dont comply with fictitious laws. Pay no heed to malevolent statutes. Be self sufficient in food & energy. Form strong communities. Deal in gold & silver or barter. Hold officials to account in de jure courts of the people. Engage in peaceful non compliance.

Mass protest might work but honestly if you really wanted to send a message aswell as force a change in the right direction I would strongly suggest voting in a third party for every seat of congress and the senate. Especially in states with representatives that have been in office for more then 2 terms. A grassroots movement would be difficult but the potential rewards make it worth it. A hodgepodge of non- Republicrats would make it difficult for them to proceed with there plans.

Swine flu, economic collapse, climate change, banks/oil companies and removal of freedoms in the guise of security. Also I believe questions about 9/11 is moving into mainstream.
I think the seeds of dissent are inherently in everyone. Even those who are not within the communities that we talk in are effected (i.e. those that many call sheeple or not woken up). But what we need is to propose a solution and then shout this at the top of our lungs.

So you think the system can be fixed? There already was a 2 million man march in DC. Did the establishment listen? No. Will they listen if there's one tomorrow? Probably not. The system has gone too far to fix, it has terminal cancer.
The only way to improve things as I see it, is to abandon the system, and start over. Just like any other parasite you want to get rid of, you stop feeding it, and it'll wither and die. That's what needs to be done, stop giving power to the behemoth.

We just saw a mass protest. It got no response from the Politicians. And it won't, because they don't care. The problem is that there is a majority of the population that doesn't know what is going on, are stupid and permanently hooked into their TV screens. These brainwashed masses will probably turn patriots into the Big Brother authorities when the media starts talking about domestic terrorists. What we need is to spread information; a group protesting on the street ain't gonna do shit.

the new street is technology, use that to protest, everyone can participate. They want people fighting to substantiate incarcerating people and to justify taking some people out of the game. They want a good fight. I said it before take all money out of banks. stop paying taxes, bills, mortgages, anything that supplys the powers that be..as well as mass protests in the streets but we all have to make a choice and do this at the same time that way they cant come after us all.. all we need is aprox. 2% of the pop. to do this and all will come to a grinding halt. we need to stop complying!!!

In the Netherlands we also are thinking of mass obstruction of the business as usual by taking out most of our money from the banks, stop buying what is not necessary, being out in the streets as much as possible to warn people, try to block as much as possible all that can be slowed down to get peoples attentention to let it grow slowly to a nationwide consciousness and get as many to join till the economy and bankers maybe give up.
Time to ask change from politicians is over imho

Actions like this have to take place everywhere, mass gatherings as in Washington 2 days ago were a great sign but the majority of people forgets it in a day.
And Naomi is right, only when everybody joins in a mass demonstration it will work, as history has proven. But in those days there were no computers and "everything" really halted in contrary to our days where computers keep bankers and economy doing their work.

So indeed the banks have to feel it, credit companies have to feel it (they are bankrupt anyway). With china going for gold and cashing their derivatives I see banks and/or stockmarket closing anyway.
In these days mass protest in the streets means mass protest in the digital systems, which we are depending on nowadays.
Everyone is in a database these days (not the person on the street) and this is how I see the mass protest has to have its match on the financial system and databases

They released these like cligesdale horses and gallopped in to the crowd but they couldn't overcome the protest. people just everywhere and chanting, in english!: "1, 2, 3, 4, WE DONT WANT YOUR FUCKING WAR!!!" could you have possibly been there?

Hi bucvw, no I wasn't in Amsterdam in '91
- but have to make a confession: although I was anti war in general I fell for the propaganda through the daughter of the US ambassador telling about the babies in the incubators and thought this war was justified to rescue the poor Quwaitians from the cruel Sadam Hoessein.
How wrong I was and learned from my mistake - a lesson. for what is going on now.
And how sadly these mass protests in Amsterdam didn't have any effect on the war.

I said that in our digital times the protest shouldn't be only on the streets but on the digital systems as well. Especially the bankers as government systems use them to control us and the least that can be done is refusing to use them or overload the systems to stop them. In no way agressive like hacking just like the streetprotests are there to show the power in a peacefull way there must be ways to show that power of the people in digital systems.

Whatever we do, think the likeliest success is going to be something that tons of people can do easily and that they would feel was beneficial to them and empowering. If we undertake individual actions at the same time, it doesn't matter where you live, what your work schedule is, etc. Rallies and demonstrations are not always the methods the majority will participate in. But, this is just my two cents.

We could make a bigger impact by pledging to pay-down our credit card debt for those credit cards as soon as possible. Use any available extra money, sell things in garage sales, use your tax returns. The credit card issuers will get alot of their money back, maybe preventing job losses, but their profits will diminish. One of the ways we are controlled so much is by debt - credit cards, car loans, mortgages, etc. We can make a powerful statement & take control of our lives at the same time.

I'd say we should set a date to cut-up our credit cards before Thanksgiving. Send a message that we will not be using our credit cards during the holiday season and beyond - no interchange fees, interest to be charged, etc. = no Christmas for the credit card banks. Yes, people in the credit card industry could lose their jobs, but it's not our job to spend to our detriment to keep their jobs going. That's the whole problem w/ our consumer based economy. We count on spending and not producing.

Gotta start by building an exploratory committee. Then identify donors, then put together plans to bring those people together using the money they donated not only for travel but other logistics like signs etc... If you could get all the Ron Paul people to donate 5 dollars that would give us 25m. Im sure we could make a brazen entry into the political world.
