I've gone to Caboose Hobbies a couple times and it's like heaven for model railroaders. Check out their website too, it has everything Caboose Hobbies has on it. They have MTH, Bachmann, Athearn, B.T.S, basically everything.
Wow that's the most women I've seen in a train hobby shop ever! Nice early 90's ? video. I have been pleased with all my orders from these guys. Recommended.
If you purchase an Athearn HO scale locomotive, look before you buy. Half of the engine's I have purchased have either been broken or missing part's from Caboose Hobbies.
And then the clerk had the nerve to get mad at me when I mentioned that it is messed up they put the merchandise back on the shelf at full price.

I have been shopping Caboose Hobbies since the 80s. This video was fun to watch, but probably filmed in the 80s. The store still has a lot to offer, but the shelves are pretty bare in comparison to years back. If you are really trying to find something inparticular, you might to check the internet stores first. I'm not knocking the store. It's still very fun to visit, but their stock on-hand is pretty thin these days.
This video was made quite a few years ago by The Late Bob Brown of WB Video who lost his live in a small Airplane Accident. You may see Bob in this video, he his the handsome gentleman with a beard looking into the Brass Display Cases. The store now has newer fixturers, with a staff of over 50 wonderful people and has grown another 4,000 square feet. Bob we all thank you for being a part of the Railroad video heritage, Duane V Miller, President Caboose Hobbies Inc. March 21, 2009.
Hey that was a great video guys! You use what you can these days! I think you guys should make more videos of your entire store, layouts that you have, or info on local railfan hotspots? Hell why not make some videos of model railroading tricks and tips, I am sure you guys have some?
This video must be atleast 10 years old. The stores has not looked that way in quite sometime. The three Grande units in the begining may give it's age away as well.
I used to come here once a month. Now that the economy has taken a plunge, I go about once a year.
