I watched the whole fight..and eddie was just looking to survive the fight, or maybe the first round without being knocked out. Yes, he landed some shots, but cro cop just walked right through it. Crocops debut shows a completely different class of fighter in the UFC. He is use to fighting a 10 minute 1st round!!!! In all seriousness when I heard Mirko was coming to the UFC I jumped for a day straight. The UFC lacks a lot of credibility in my book compared to Pride. Crocops debut shows a completely different class of fighter in the UFC. He is use to fighting a 10 minute 1st round!!!! I wouldn't say he played with this guy, because crocop doesn't play in a fight, but he showed a LOT of restraint and control.

Right here and now with my words marked the reign of Mikro crocop in the UFC began last night. Until the UFC produces a new kind of fighter I consider Crocop in retirement, he did his best against fedor and that was all he had to prove to himself. Cro Cop could easily have had a high-profile match for his debut, but his name isn't well known to the casual UFC fans. They had to put somebody in there to build the hype. Unfortunately for Eddie Sanchez, he was tapped for the fight and terribly outclassed in his match against Filipovic.
