I don't have these headphones, but I'm assuming you pay a premium for brand name and fashion, like the Adidas Sennheiser HD25 was £200 instead of £150 for the normal which sound the same and look less silly. I'd expect good sound quality from them but not as good as is possible for the money, probably the same if you buy bose headphones.

And since I plan on using the same set for quite a while longer (replacing parts and using warranty as necessary, if necessary) I think the 50 bucks extra for the better looking frame will be worth it. HD25s have been known to last as long as 10 years

The Denon brand does bass better than the beats entirely, and even Ultrasone, too.
