  • The only flaw I see is when the man in the front brings his arm back, it bends in 3 places (at around 0:17 the first time) but the system seems mint :p

    It must've taken forever to program this in RpgMaker 2003!

    Yes, it's possible but... at that level of complexity, you might as well use Flash instead.

    I find it difficult to believe the stats at the end are real. RpgMaker 2003 is only able to display 20 pictures at a time.

    And the amount of code that'd be needed to display all those numbers would be ridiculous!

  • the actual version, theres a maximum of 50 pictures on RPGmaker2003, and the final stats are all charsets ;)

  • What do all those stats represent? I can guess the first two, but the other three seem kinda different.

  • PV= Hit points

    PM= Magic points

    PV= Vitality points (in RED)

    PS= Spirit points

    PE= Energic Points

    Vitality its for releasing Warrior Skills

    Spirit for Clerics Skills

    Energic for Mage Skills

    it consumes depending on the skill, and the CBS was planed to made Dual Tech and Tripe Tech like in Chrono Trigger, and depending on the Tech, it will consume Vitality, Energic or Spirit points. ;)

    but the CMS its now stoped, i need more time if i want to continue it... :o

  • This is imposible with the RPG Maker 2003, unless youv took time into making 82743897429874 variables just for 1 battle.

  • I could guess the amount of variables used that we saw would be about 18-32, but the ones used in THIS could also be used over and over and over again just by resetting, AND they'd also be used in the CMS.

  • yep, most of the variables used on this CBS are temporal, and can be used again for Engines with temporal variables :)

    im using about 300 variables on this CBS

  • I think that's just the default battle system, actually, but it's used in a way that makes it  look unique.

  • its not the default battle system, its a custom battle system, its made by events and comands in a mapa in RPGmaker.

  • The enemies are riped from BoF2 from SNES, the players, Ahruon (from Card Sagas War) made it a long time ago
