Home, sweet home. Griffey was the reason I loved baseball. His retirement is why I no longer love it.  Still enjoy it but I loved watching him play.

One of the greatest players of his era. Its a damned shame that the Mariners didn't go out and get a closer back in the mid-90s. Had they done that, and with all the talent the Mariners had, their story would have been completely different.

Griffey should have retired with a couple of WS rings. Sadly, that never happened.

Cunt, it's not about whether we won or lost. It was about the spirit that Griffey brought.

The Mariners were in a slack before Griffey came in Seattle. Once Griffey, A-Rod, Randy, Edgar, and Buhner were playing under the same roof, they started playing to sellout crowds. I remember the kingdome.. there was never a seat empty.

Safeco Field is known as "The house that Griffey built" in honor of him. We all love Griffey and love him with unmeasurable gratitude.

YES!! Super stoked about Griffey coming back! 1995 son.. Best year for the M's! I remember when he had that wrist injury. My mom was actually his nurse when that happened. Now..only if we can have Randy Johnson, Edgar and Tino Martinez, Jay Buhner, Dan Wilson, Joey Cora back on the roster (only wishful thinking obviously)..HOLY HELL!! lol. Welcome home Griffey!!!!
