does anybody know what the left luggage storage facility is like in paddingotn station. is it pretty safe and reliable.

its really bad in paddington station where they don't display the platform number of the train until short time before departure. It's like it has been rigged to cause hassle and make it more stressful. Other busy train stations always display the platform number of departure train long before time. THey always do it. they have the time of destination train displayed but always leave the platform number untill the last minute. it seems like somebody is screwing with system on purphouse

Maybe but i have sensed a certain vibe in london lately and it seems somebody is definitely screwing with the system and making it more stressful on purphouse. THey are trying as hard as they can to increase the chances of people missing there journeys so they will be forced to buy more tickets. It just seems like the railway stations in london are being run to fuck people about on purphouse to make the likelihood of missing ur train more likly.

When I was there in July 2008 there was severe rain and flooding.We were o n the train from windsor when the train just stopped and the anouncement came on

I just really wish they would clean the roof and re paint the wonderful ironwork. Its absolutely filthy :(

i think paddington station could do with some moving walkways for people with heavy luggage. also remember that moving walkways dont have to be in a straight line. moving walkways can also go round corners.

I've had to travel to London a lot in the past year and I get sick of the long journey and feeling knackered at the end, but I never get tired of stepping into Paddington station. Period. It's beautiful.
