The game is Hellgate: London. It came out a few years ago and it was developed by Flagship Studios, a company founded by a former Blizzard developer. (Hence the game's StarCraft/Diablo-esque appearance.) The game's single player was decent but nothing amazingly fun and the online-multiplayer was such crap that they shut down the servers about a year or so ago. If I remember properly, Flagship Studios has since gone out of business.

She covers the important areas that would be debilitating, but leaves less important areas open to allow for greater mobility. He sacrifices speed for defense, while she does the opposite.
