I don't know what some of you are seeing, but my take is a complete opposite;

The choral chants sound almost like Sioux or Cherokee, I see the fog as the mists of time bringing back a noble and proud plains indian warrior from an earlier and more innocent time in this country's history. And this video captures the pride of a great and proud people. That's my 2 cents anyways. let the hate mail fly.

This song blighted my childhood & has left me with me with severe emotional damage. My parents were new agey types who loved Enigma & well every Sat night for the summer of '94 at around 11pm I'd hear this song through the wall from my parents room. Enigma wasn't the worst of it, you see my mothers groans as she received cunnilingus from father were entwined by the groaning vocals on this record. 'Return to innocence'?, this song destroyed my innocence! Thanks Mom, Thanks Dad, Thanks Enigma.

@jasonismyhomie I wish I could listen to this song & chant along in order to cleanse my self spiritually but just hearing it sends me into cold sweats, I shake, & I'm plagued with thoughts of my mother & father writhing on their white cotton sheets! The images never leave my mind, youtube poster. All I can see are those slightly rotund, sweaty & hairy bodies writhing. I feel physically sick right now. I need my meds. The chant was from an aboriginal tribe native to Taiwan and not as many seem to think Native American.

In March 1998, Kuo Ying-nan and Kuo Hsiu-chu sued Cretu, Virgin Records, and others for unauthorised usage of their song without credit. The case was settled out of court for an undisclosed amount of money and all further releases/royalties of the song were credited to the Kuos.

I love the track and Enigma, but it is a shame when they used the work of others without permission or credit

Too bad the European cultures couldn't have just merged with those already here, instead of killing them. Christianity needs to take a hit for that, though not the only factor. I love the song but the video is really messed up. Making a horse run at a full gallop and then ripping up on the reins at the last minute. Native Americans are supposed to be free nothing worse then parading around the metaphorical idea of one trapped in a riding ring. Btw the horse didn't exactly enjoy the riding experience you can see it in its face at the end of video. * two thumbs way down*
