Ocelot does not simply play liquid...he basically allowed himself to be brainwashed into thinking that he is liquid who has taken over ocelot. He could not revert back to ocelot if he wanted to because of the conditioning and psychotherapy. He allowed himself to become liquid so that he could be taken as a serious threat by the patriots.

omfg i just barely beat this game in like 4 days at 19 hours but the fight at the end with snake and liquid is so freakin epic and when u have to crawl through like 10 corridors of microwaves, I was tapping triangle for 5 minutes and at the end of that part it felt like my arm got stuck in a microwave. It's still Ocelot's body, and Ocelot is not really young. It's just that he learned the CQC directly from the Boss, that's why he's better

No it is because ocelot learned cqc from big boss during mgs3. After mgs2 ocelot had liquid's arm removed, but went under specail therapy in order to convince the patriots and himself that he is liquid. Eva, ocelot and naomi were working together to destroy the patriots and zero.

Ocelot didn't learn CQC from "Big Boss" in MGS3. They were enemies there. He learned some from THE BOSS. Not Big Boss.

Ocelot used psychotherapy and nanos to recreate "Liquid Snake" inside his own mind, thus the guy "Liquid Ocelot" has the same memories, and the same personality as Liquid, thus the same SKILLS.... Big Boss say's this himself, he say's that Ocelot put Liquids personality on to his own... Thus he IS Liquid.

To explain the name! First the "Liquid" persona is the dominant and has total controll of the body. The it changes to Liquid Ocelot, because Liquid is starting to lose controll, and Ocelot is begining to come back, so they both fight Snake at the same time. Then it changes to Ocelot, because Snake had finaly "killed" Liquid. And Ocelot just fought Snake to see if Solid Snake could match the skills of Big Boss (you remeber that Ocelot nearly beat Big Boss at the end of Snake eater).

I wouldn't say the Ocelot/Big Boss fight at the end of MGS3 was fair. Big Boss hadn't slept for days, survived torture, beat the hell out of Volgin, destroyed the Shagohad, and defeated the Boss. No normal man would be in any kind of shape to even fight after all of that.

Yes, someone who finally understands. All this CQC is Liquid's, not Ocelots. Ocelot definately knew his stuff and was an excellent gunslinger, but he can in no way be compared to Liquid and Solid, who were genetically engineered to kick ass and take names.

Actually, only Liquid is geneticly engineered to be good. Solid is geneticly engineered to be weaker! Liquid got all the soldier genes from Big Boss, Solid got none of them, Solidus was left unalterd, and was there by an exact copy.

But seeing how Ocelot is the son of The Boss, the one who trained Big Boss, Ocelot is most likly also geneticly strong, because how many people are worthy of becoming a Major in the russian army when they are only 20 years old? Ocelot was!

They were both genetically engineered to be war machines. Solid did indeed get the recessive genes, but that doesn't mean he didn't get any "soldier" genes. He got all of them. They are basically the same thing, and the fact that Solid still kicked Liquid's ass speaks volumes about him. Ocelot is no doubt a badass, but he isn't on the same level as Liquid and Solid.

The fact that Liquid, who thought he was the waeker of the two, explained that he was "the garbage" that was left. But since it turned out that Liquid was the superior clone, thus Solid IS the GARBAGE that was left over. So, yes... He doesn't have any soldier genes, because all was given to Liquid. Genes have little to do with the fact that Solid beat Liquid... he PUSHED Liquid over the edge of REX's head. Liquid infact was about to kill Solid, but was killed of himself by Foxdie!

That was the way Liquid put it. They never said the inferior clone didn't get any soldier genes, both of them got all of them. They were near exact copies of Big Boss. Dominant and Recessive also does not mean one is inferior and the other superior, just the trait that tends to stand out more. Solid defeated Liquid 4 times. The fact that Liquid was defeated by Solid even when he was in a Metal Gear definately proves Solid was superior (though he had the "inferior" genes).

And Ocelot confirmed that Liquid was indeed superior GENETICLY. That's what the "superior-inferior" talk is about. Liquid is geneticly superior, thus, the ODDS for him to become the best is higher, but that still doesn't mean he will be.

Solid is inferior, geneticly. But is more skilled when it comes to fighting one-on-one fights.

I don't look at it that way. Ocelot recreated Liquid's persona and put it onto himself, so in a way Liquid remained influential long after his death.
