@suckapunch565 I haven't looked into Manga Studio (not even a demo video) so I can't give you any opinion on that particular program. I have poked around in ToonBoom but as of late I have been too busy (hence no recent videos) to really get the hang of it... although I must say the possibilities for it are amazing... I guess it depends on what you are trying to accomplish. All the simple videos I have posted were done with flash; and it isn't limited to only what I can do... just more hassle.
@PicklePumpers yea that watermark sucks. It wouldn't be so bad if it was in the corner but I guess they figured people could just remove it. Toon Boom Studio is actually it's own program with lots of animation capabilities. It is priced relatively cheap (meaning it's cheaper than the rest). Toon Boom Animate (which I am using) is a little better but still not the Pro version... which is really expensive. If I had that kind of money to blow I would get the Wacom Cintiq 21UX first...
@PicklePumpers Oh yea... You were close. Toon Boom Animate! I'm loving it right now.... once I can figure out how to properly rig a character so that the IK works right I'll be all set.
And wow, a father at 15! That must have been a struggle! Although it is a tough situation to be in, it does make me glad that there are guys out there who actually do take responsibility to take care of a child. I know of too many guys from high school who would knock up a chick and wouldn't give a shit.
What is the program you are learning to use? I'm currently starting my animation degree and we are beginning to use MAYA and AfterEffects.
@NikiPaprika Not an easy task for anyone (no matter gender)... I have to admit though it did give me certain... benefits... not many highschool guys want to hang out with a baby around... so I was usually surrounded by girls... which I can't complain about. Just glad I was a quick learner and didn't have any more children at that age :)
Yeah, the weather over here is soooo boring! A good word that us Scots use to describe it is "Dreech" (the 'ch' part pronounced like how we pronounce it in Loch).
I always LOVE it when we have thunder and lightning storms, because they are VERY rare here. Also, I realise this has probably been asked before, but why is it you are in England atm? If this has already been answered, please tell me which video it is you answered it in.
@Patman128 It's probably because I never use that "higher" education while speaking lol... not a fan of 10 dollar words. Thanks though... if you meant I just SOUND younger thanks twice :)
@CreatureOfLegend I use a tablet... but I prefer the old fashion paper and pencil. Best way to learn to draw? Practice... I give myself exercises all the time. Like drawing a simple face over and over again, stuff like that.
@CelticAlphabet Kenpachi is my favorite as well for many reasons. Just the idea of someone soooo badass is beyond my comprehension... Like putting all those limitations on himself JUST to help his opponent makes him tops in my book.
hey piratedlogic, What would you prefer, Manga Studio EX4 or Toon Boom?

Do you use a tablet or do you draw w/ the mouse? This question is kind of general but: What's the best way to learn to draw?
