it wasnt long after this that tyne tees pensioned neville wanless off , not suprised either, the bbc would never have had anyone as bad as this with poor diction

TTTV and YTV were completely separate at this point. Tyne Tees were not averse to using "stock" slides from other companies -- plenty of unbranded Central ones were used as well.
It's called being cheapskates lol.

Tyne Tees and Yorkshire always seemed to have strong links whether they were together 'officially' or not.

That looks like an un-branded Yorkshire slide for 'In Loving Memory', even though this was after Tyne Tees had been separated from YTV and before they came together again.
Anyway, this is from Tuesday 26th January 1988.
