Not as heavy as you'd think. You have to train for like weeks to build up endurance and once you have the endurance, it's actually pretty light. (I play marching band base drum)

I never said anything about being Heavy ,, I said the DRUM was BIGGER than the Band Member,, He was only about 4 ft tall if that more like 3-10 ,, lol when I stood in front to take the video,, all I saw was a DRUM LOL ,, It's not an issue ,, I Love all the marching bands in NOLA,, Peace ,, BIG MIKE
