jackie for some one who feels like she is prude she is so open to being nude and out there and how dare she get mad at that older ladies self painting of her as proud pussy
Jackie is totally gaining control by having total control over a sexual situation involving herself. Miles may have conceptualized it with a mindset to objectify her, but she took it and made it empowering. Her work has really great pro-sexual feminist ideas, and for that alone I respect her art work. Her presentation of herself as an idol isn't so much saying that she is an idol to others but that she is an idol to herself and pleasuring herself in this way. People are so stupid, sometimes.
@LisaSimpsonRules1st It's so true, though! I specialized in art and art history in university. We were trained to be masters of bullshit, both in regards to creating our own work, and in critiquing the work of our peers and of established artists. If you were articulate enough, and threw around enough long words with confidence, you could get away with making total tripe. ;) The art world is VERY pretentious, but if you can look past the bullshit, it can also be fun and beautiful.
yeah- despite the fact that jackie opened up the subject in her painting, ryan's masturbation question was rude and inappropriate (especially on national television??). i wouldn't kick him out of bed, though!
anyway, it is really lame and annoying the way jackie goes back to the same tired shit again and again.
Ok, that was a BS question to Jacqueline "Do you masturbate standing up?" WTF. She should not have answered that. This episode clearly demonstrates massive sexism (both in Miles and at least 2 of the judges). WTF about the other judge telling her she is clearing working out some sexual issues. Uh, actually it was Miles idea so I guess he is working out those "issues". Jerks!!
@davidlynn77 I agree the masturbation question didn't make much sense, but I don't see how that demonstrates sexism. Miles might have been the one to suggest it, but Jaclyn ultimately made the decision to put her naked body on display. If you have been watching the entire season; you can tell she never passes up an opportunity to display her body. She obviously has some issues, but I think it's more about her body than sex.

From 2:40 I've never hear so many big words together meaning so little. Oh, well, maybe in a political speech during re-election time. LOL!!!
