See, I replied to someone's senseless comment stating that "19 people need god in their lives." It was saying that 19 people who disliked this video need God in their lives. Like in this song, it's good I'll admit that but, the only gospel lyrics were "we've given God all that". It's a Gospel song! have more Godly lyrics! not just "all about us, oops forgot the God part in it stick a couple of God lryics in there".

@techmando98 You weren't listening, for crying out loud. It's called "emphasis" often used in art. They build up crescendos to "We're givin' God all that". The entire song is built around the chorus, which has that line. You can make that argument for every song out there though. So think on it, read the lyrics. Just because God isn't mentioned everywhere like in some songs I've heard, doesn't make it any less than one that mentions it in every other line.

First off, the Word says everything that has breath, give Him praise...not everyone who is self righteous or think themselves saved. I don't know the salvation of the Newsboys, nor do I know the salvation of most folks who have written songs praising God. I only know they have breath. Second, God uses whom God uses. If you think they have not influenced people toward God, then you need to research as well.

@SoldierAtBattle4us The bible however says our flesh is enmity to God. Meaning, a direct opposite, and opposing force against God. It is not directed by God, it is not controlled by God. He gave us free will, and we abused it as a people. Satan is not our main enemy (though indeed he is the enemy), it is that flesh that tries to direct you to do this, or to do that. Paul did not say he killed satan daily, he said he died daily. His own will had to be killed and God's had to be done.

The problem is, some people have never seen God move in their life, and felt like this song, so they then have to say it must not be Christian. WE ALL KNOW to be a good Christian you have to be sad and somber, because that is what the bible says...right? @SoldierAtBattle4us There is a difference between judging and correcting. Yes if someone is sinning, rebuke/correct them in love. But Jesus tells us not to judge others (Matthew 7) We are hardly qualified to judge people. Grace alone separates me from the lost.

*sigh* sometimes now a days in our culture some bands make "gospel" songs which are just normal songs with some gospel lyrics.
Like in this song, it's good I'll admit that but, the only gospel lyrics were "we've given God all that". It's a Gospel song! have more Godly lyrics! not just "all about us, oops forgot the God part in it stick a couple of God lryics in there".
it may just be this song but, a lot of bands do this if you lisen to them.

@techmando98 You weren't listening, for crying out loud. It's called "emphasis" often used in art. They build up crescendos to "We're givin' God all that". The entire song is built around the chorus, which has that line. You can make that argument for every song out there though. So think on it, read the lyrics. Just because God isn't mentioned everywhere like in some songs I've heard, doesn't make it any less than one that mentions it in every other line.

Oh gee, an anonymous person under some unknown name said Newsboys are not Christian, and well, they must not be.
LOL...trolls, that is all they are. They just want a rise out of someone, because they can do it on here without facing anyone. YouTube seems to be their cowardly platform of choice. First off, the Word says everything that has breath, give Him praise...not everyone who is self righteous or think themselves saved. I don't know the salvation of the Newsboys, nor do I know the salvation of most folks who have written songs praising God. I only know they have breath. Second, God uses whom God uses. If you think they have not influenced people toward God, then you need to research as well.

@SoldierAtBattle4us The bible however says our flesh is enmity to God. Meaning, a direct opposite, and opposing force against God. It is not directed by God, it is not controlled by God. He gave us free will, and we abused it as a people. Satan is not our main enemy (though indeed he is the enemy), it is that flesh that tries to direct you to do this, or to do that. Paul did not say he killed satan daily, he said he died daily. His own will had to be killed and God's had to be done.

If the Newsboys are making songs like Isaiah, Amazing Love, He Reigns...who do you think they are lifting up? The world around you opens up. Does nature suddenly act human and wave at you? Not really, but it sure seems like that. It also seems like a party when you are surrounded by those worshiping around you, and you do like David did, and dance before the Lord.

Do you really know that they are doing that for the sign of the devil, as was done back in the 80s and 90s? The problem is, some people have never seen God move in their life, and felt like this song, so they then have to say it must not be Christian. WE ALL KNOW to be a good Christian you have to be sad and somber, because that is what the bible says...right? @SoldierAtBattle4us There is a difference between judging and correcting. Yes if someone is sinning, rebuke/correct them in love. But Jesus tells us not to judge others (Matthew 7) We are hardly qualified to judge people. Grace alone separates me from the lost.
I just fail to see why you say Newsboys are not with God. I can think of many songs in which they are clearly bring praise to God!

@Taspearl sorry, been a little busy and haven't gotten back on here in a while. yeah alot of stupid rules. you can use the internet but you can't go to say ebay, espn, yahoo, myspace, facebook, twitter, not even here on youtube. what is messed up if the affect that place has on good young christians and how it makes christians look when the lost looks at us.

@Taspearl well basically the matrix point for me was that their world is hidden, remember how ugly it was in that one scene with neo and morpheus? the village was basically the powers that be lying to the people which also can go into politics as well and demolition man was simply the stupid rules, in that movie, you can't eat burgers or steaks, illegal. you should see that movie, one of my all time favorites with stallone and snipers.

@2009mathguy well they have a choice not to tattle, it would be one thing if it was about drugs or something actually bad. I don't need to go to their voice site or anything, been there as an outside and insider, there is a vast difference. it also explains why I got looked at strangely when visiting and I was listening to my cd walkman to either the newsboys or scc with my headphones, if it's alumni, they only praise the place

@Taspearl well no posters on the walls if that is what you mean if you mean art classes, there are some but trust me, there are alot of better art school to go to. yes this place can be compared to a few movies be it the matrix, the village, or disturbing behavior and probably some others including demolition man. some parts just really remind you about 250 brent lane.

@2009mathguy how about telling on someone for say looking at a newsboys cd in walmart? they may get in trouble, still doesn't make it right and I haven't heard about the failing a test or class if caught studying after lights out but it wouldn't surprise me.

@Taspearl be it your room or car and they don't allow headphones because they can't monitor what you're listening to even though that would solves the problem if your roommates didn't like the newsboys. ok date time, chaperoned only and you have to pay for the chaperone's meal as well plus I think the parents have to give the ok still for the date. I didn't bother dating a girl there since I really didn't know which girl would be trustworhy. I did things against their rules you could say.

@Taspearl it's ok, I am sorry I had 2 replies earlier, just ran out of characters. ok since you're a guy that is better than being a girl there. they have people (spies) to watch if students buy dvds or cds or if guys and girls talk to each other since you're not supposed to. did I mention, be careful who you trust meaning roommates or people on the same dorm floor or people you meet for there are 18-20 something year old tattle tails if you do sneak a newsboys cd in or listen to power 88

@Taspearl to do a search on CHRISTIAN COLLEGE CAMPUS GUIDE, you will find accredited ones listed there, 250 brent lane, if you go there and don't like it, you wasted your money unless you go to another school in pensacola called UWF, it's a public one but I wonder if they are in on this whole thing too. I forgot to mention no concerts while there even if it's the newsboys or steven curtis chapman or whoever, doesn't matter. did I mention they have people keep an eye on things at walmart?

@Taspearl AWESOME! Glad you got saved and look forward to one day meeting you one day! Well, I used to think it was amusing until I saw the affect that place has on good Christian people. They won't allow alot of things. Not sure if I asked if you were a guy or girl but if you're a girl, don't even think about pants or jeans or shorts as well, there is a dress code and the girls do have it worse than the guys. The education is also not that good and i recommend anyone who really wants

@Taspearl well they are I guess what you call extreme conservatives and one reason I don't like being called conservative. there is more such as no going to a movie theater, guys and girls can't go to the same side of the beach. they only allow their music station but nothing you would hear on klove or power 88, well they do actually sing songs by the likes of michael w smith and chris tomlin and steve green and michael card. getting close to running out of characters but can tell you more
