  • It was a minimum take-off speed test. Nothing exceptional about it at all.

  • It's a test flight folks. See the markings on the plane. No pilot who wishes to keep his job would pull the yoke at that speed with passengers...

  • tail strike test my ass. The piolet didnt know what the fuck he was doing.

  • to low speed !!!

  • is it real???

  • test for aircrafts are mean...they literally make these beasts damage themselves...and as for the pilots...they are the best men...hats off to you guys :D

  • It's for testing purposes.

  • its was the fat person at the back of the plane.

  • @jaydee25stacks i think in addition to names they should obligate passengers to identify their weights. Can't airplanes only handle a certain amount of weight. Like if you have a commercial flight like this full of 300 pounder's i can imagine that being a safety concern

  • @Sophiatimezone Some fat bastard will sue the airlines for public embarassment.

  • who put my mom on that plane >:(

  • Looks like you really got to know how to handle the yoke on that one. Wow, I'm impressed with what must be a lot of grace under pressure.

  • Guess he run out of paper so he wiped his ass on the runway

  • just another test!

  • Jets mean airbus boeing means shity planes

  • @sixnightsaweek Airbus means fatality Boeing means innovation

  • How fast was that?

  • Jet means Boeing not airbus .. for the lose!!

  • Yep these tests are dangerous, BUt better that they are done to prove the safety of the plane in extreme attitudes, rather that than NOT test it, and find that on tail strike the rear end of the plane falls off.... Test Pilots are a Dangerous breed, but the tests are planned to minimise the risk...

FAA certification takes time, costs money, and saves lives.

  • What the hell !!!! WTF MAN!

  • all newly built planes have to go through these tests so they can set the planes instruments and safety systems correctly. some test flights the pilots have to actually were parachutes lol

  • What's the difference between god and a pilot ? God doesn't think he's a pilot! I hate the arrogance of infalabillity pilots seem to have, to err is human. Even with your cracker jax wings on your chest.

  • pilot put the flaps down

  • Comment removed

  • It's got hemoroides lol

  • The poor A 380 has that burning butt feeling...she should try Preparation H..it soothes those hot rears so well...;-)

  • This was part of the compulsory pre service flight testing programme so why demonstrate your ignorance by calling it a dangerous takeoff?

  • Great test!

  • I don't think anything pilots do or anything that involves aviation is considered "dangerous" since pretty much everything we do is well planned and calculated to the minimum, also goes with standard procedures. Just my own opinion from what we do before a flight, during and after.

  • Test to find out the minimum takeoff speed. But thanks for upload.

  • @ichbinsdoch ok. that's why

  • thats tail srike test, asshole

  • It's wiping his butt xD

  • check the making of the A380 and you'll know why this TEST was done. As m0mcx said it's a standard test.

  • Who said the back of the plane was the safest??? O_O

  • THEY TEST THE AIRPLANE...

  • im changeing the title to normal takeoff by airbus A380

  • it tests the minumum take off speed fully loaded

  • look at the elevator-fin just before airborne!! it´s shaking in case of the turbulences from the wings.

    NICE VID!

  • It is *very* dangerous, but very routine for aircraft flight-worthiness testing.

  • super enggg!!

  • Hi fellows.

That´s it the NORMAL PROCEDEURE ..... for short runways :-)

That was only a yoke ....... and the vid is one of the A 380 tests for defining the

    Minimum Take Off Speed

  • too slow!

  • tail strike test. nothing unusual

  • @bekemiki in fact if you look closely you will see that the block of metal they use to strike the ground is there but as the aircraft continues to lift off the ground starts scraping the actual tail more rearward.

  • yeah right dragging your tail on the runway is a stress test !

  • Yeah, this is a standard test, but it didn't go exactly according to plan, there's a metal plate they put on a bar that sits on the tail part of the fuselage and this is supposed to strike the ground. It does, but the end part of the fuselage strikes the ground as well, that had to be replaced with a sheet of whatever the aircraft was made of. The tail is not supposed to strike :P

  • VMU test - Velocity Minimum Unstick - they need to know the minimum speed the airplane will get off the ground at different weights and flap settings. This data goes into the airplane manual.

  • its a tail skid test, there are sensors and red painted to know if the A/C body came in contact with the ground surface,if it does than the A/c is grounded for certain checks and structural tests .

  • big mistake in design!

  • @MrTubeville how??

  • Pilot not allowed to use match to light up his ciggy, so next best thing..............

  • It's a tail strike test.

  • I heard the pilots were drinking moonshine...

  • 240p we meet again...

  • the designers planed for that, because aluminum is weak and doesn't spark, steel does and most of the plane is aluminum, except the tail there

  • That's the tail strike testing to make sure the plane can withstand a tail strike

  • My dog drags its arse like that when he has worms.

  • It's called a tail-strike and happens more often than you think. A plane crashed when a tail-strike repair was not repaired properly.

  • it was a test guys test

  • you killed the use of sick.

  • This is a test flight because if you zoom in well enough, you can see that the left pilot is holding a test form in his left hand.

  • fuck u .. u guys still dint realized it .. IT's fake... its animated !!

  • @rachitforever

what kind of moron are you using that language

  • It's a test flight...

  • it could catch fire, fire sparks were there, or they have fixed a waterpipe close to the dangrous spot?

  • @puketinho it has a skid plate, usually this dont happen often

  • fuk being a test pilot doing this kind of test

  • michelle obama must have been the cargo

  • wheres the T-CUT

  • It's a tail strike test.

It's a common issue that affects aircraft on takeoff. Aircraft are designed to withstand them. A gust of wind can easily give a pilot a little extra unexpected lift at the front of the aircraft in any conditions.

  • not crazy dangerous, just a standard test.

  • Oh DEAR!

  • FAIL

  • this is the minimum speed takeoff. it is a NORMAL test procedure

  • what similater game is that?

  • gives new meaning to "dragging your ass"

  • unstick test. part of certification is to determine the slowest speed that the aircraft can fly off the runway...

  • o.m.g .awsome video!

  • Wtf? Crazy pilot or something?

  • wtf? did the plane crashet or something? the pilot thought he could make a weelly whit an Airplane?

  • Those scratches will buff right out !

  • This is a standard test that's done as part of an air-worthyness certificate. It's not dangerouos and it's not crazy. Please title your films correctly. Thanks.

  • @m0mcx

yep! your right! prety amazing looking big plane when you see it lift!

  • @m0mcx I agree but if the test fails......BOOM......pilot dead

  • @m0mcxYou are wrong! This was both dangerous and crazy! Probably a little more on the crazy side of the scale with little danger thrown in.

  • @m0mcx

You are very right!!!!!!!! This kind of special take off is run to check special parameters e.g. minimum runway length for a safe take of a,s,o,

The plane is special prepared for this tests s. at 29 sec. ......... the little "tail" you see!

  • @m0mcx Actually I am sick of the people who puts titles like 'Dangerous.....almost crash....crazy take off...close call" where in reality it is not even close!....bahh!!

There is only one thing I can see which is sick - THE TITLE!

  • @m0mcx it may not be crazy...but it's dangerous...pls comment correctly

  • @luckyisbest it is not dangerous. It's a test done to test the minimum unstick speed.

  • @m0mcx Absolutely right. Some people really don`t understand anything about aviation at all.

  • i guess there were some fat people on that plane.

  • niiiice bet that was a fun ride

  • OMG!

  • if ot realy happend the plane would have to return after such scrathes you can have te same effect as on aloha airline crash

  • lol

  • @wahaya2 hahaha good sense of humor:)

  • They do this on purpose for testing, and don't really try to take off like this - and just as well. A takeoff like that would have the average passenger screaming bloody murder inside the plane XD

  • I confirm. test for take off, low speed..

  • I totally remember that this waz a test flight there were no passengers

  • this plane is really slow

  • Standard tail skid testing. I guess it passed :)

  • its crazy

  • also to see the extent of a tail scrape.

  • This is to check the minimum take off speed. A very normal test before certifying the aircraft

  • Test Pilots have a scary job.

  • it was on purpose you know, it was a test, what would happen if pilots made an error like that during real flight

  • too dangerous, they must correct this.

  • take off too steep.
