Windows 7 would now run on the specs microsoft gave for vista in the beginning but vista didnt run on those specs. Win7 would! :D

Yea, it's pretty solid....light weight, and very well thought out. Also boots up really quick...faster than my vista and xp boxes. I'm loving it.
