there is a woman named Joan Boivin doing just the very similar thing. she just hire someone to do the job and claim the credit. but the fact is, she don't know a thing about photography
These same idiots who think they're photographers take their pictures then come into Walgreens or CVS and expect perfection. I used to work at Walgreens photo and I hate these type of "photographers." They are the most annoying customers ever. They are so picky and I, as a minimum wage photo tech, don't give a rat's ass about every fine detail of their stupid prints.
I think its funny as hell... Because really some people come out and think that photography is so lucrative easy and that they will get paid bank. So they come in and steal others customers by lowballing them with a speech shown in this video.... Im just saying that I agree to a point. Its humor. You want a heartfelt debate? go to church and talk about where you came from. Leave your shit off youtube!
I like the irony that this was made using an amateurish movie-making application with the motto, "If you can type, you can make movies." Was that serendipitous or purposeful?
I'd prefer as many people as possible pursuing Art. Quality is another matter, but it shouldn't derail the pursuit of intellectual growth.
Perhaps the true issue is the arrogance of certain beginners, or else the effects of technology (think of microwaving, say, a chicken piccata TV dinner).

I think its quite snobbish what people are saying, I think instead of being jealous and a total DICK about this, you should encourage and help others, its their choice that their charging so little and capturing okay images, and they will realise that.. but I don't know many photographers that will genuinely help them. It's a tough career choice and isn't easy going alone. Video's like this just discourage people from starting a career/ lifestyle.
These days, much of the public, because of what they see on the internet-have been so inundated with mediocre, pedestrian, and often times, downright awful images... and told (usually by the images' creators) how great the work is, they've been brainwashed into believing there's quality and skill brought to bear on the completely forgettable work they're looking at. Blame the internet, the digital camera (r)evolution, or today's "instant pudding" generation. The bar can't get any lower.
oh this is so true......Amen for the attention to this! Time for some to get a better education on photography and truly capturing good portraits and not just pictures.
@lknox72 It's the same in many fields sadly lol. You get people like this who think they're graphic designers because they have Photoshop, even though they have no idea how to use it, and insist on using it for everything they do, even things like logo's and stuff! I've seen some disturbing logo's in my time lol. Everyone has to start somewhere, but proclaiming they're pro just because they own a pro bit of equipment doesn't mean they are!
lol!!

@ottimo14
I think that's kind of the joke the movie-making application designers had in mind when making this software.
