does anyone know if korpiklaani would ever do songs for a wedding? i have a friend whos getting married in less than 1 year and he loves korpiklaani and trust me, money is of no issue. hahaha.......but things could change though. but if it goes through, do you think they would do it? just curious. i mean, he is the one who will be trying to contact them with that question. would be interestuing if they could do this. and theyll have all the booze they want ;)

I'm not sure, I mean there are so many goth/ metal people wanting them to play on their wedding (even I won't say no if they would offer it to me!). But they have their lives and have much to do with recording and touring and so on - on top of that they have "real" jobs to do as they work as everyone. So there would be no time for that, though this idea is great.

Forest cover is part of finnish mythology. Forest cover, which is in finnish "metsänpeitto" is a place where man can get in forest. It is kind of hallusinative state of mind where everything is distorted and you feel very strange. It is said thatyou turn to be invisible to other people and you can get lost because everything around you looks unfamiliar. Someone can feel like frozen and aren`t able to move. Some have escaped it by turning clothes backside front or with help of a shaman...

I.m trying to sort out how to explain it, I really like the CD, it just seems different, I'm not sure if it's the band going in a different direction, or new influences, or maybe my own expectations were different, That said, it is missing a wolf. I can't wait to see them in January in Allentown PA, I hope i doesn't snow that night.

The singer is telling a tale of himself lost in the deep forest. He keeps going on till he doesn`t know where he is. He`s worried and tries to sooth himself by singing. He starts to play and sing songs to the ruler of the forest. who is strong and mighty, and lives under mountains and oaks. The singer thinks that songs make will please the ruler,so he sings about distant countries and places. Finally man finds his way to his cottage. That`s a simplified plot of this song.
