Hi again, Does the Mini-Max require a a license or certificate to fly in Japan or is it like an ultralight and not required? Oh yeah on my comment about Fukushima do you have any worries about radiation when your flying, maybe you should wear a respirator like the one you were wearing when you painted your bird. Anyhow great work, please make more videos maybe from the cockpit on your future flights.
The accident that I mentioned in last post was was a impact with a tree on takeoff the pilot was attempting to take off from his backyard with only 150 yards of clearing with trees on both ends of the field. I hate seeing aircraft accidents especially fatal ones but we should use the information to help prevent future accidents. I tried to post the link to the NTSB website here but it wouldn't let me.
Great job! Awesome workmanship. Did you build the 1/2 VW engine yourself or did you purchase it from someone? I also really liked how you were able to build this in your limited amount of workshop space and the fact that you also built the workshop.Sadly there was a fatal mini-max crash recently in South Carolina near here were I live in Georgia I forgot the cause of it but I will look at the NTSB website and post the link here later. Congratulations and stay out of Fukushima airspace!

先日はお世話になりました。なかなか楽しい話でした。今度はヘリに邪魔されないところで雑談しましょう。東京ＦＣのほうにまた遊びに行きます。テストフライトなど何かあったら連絡ください。 離陸もあっという間だし、余裕で飛んでますね。たしかに後姿かっこいいです。ビデオのほうもなかなか良いですね。作品と言う形になってますものねえ。

@harutinn1 そうなんですよ まだ調整がうまく取れてなくって。
重心位置はそこそこ良いところに入ってるんですけど、上空ではノーズダウンのくせがあって
尾翼の取り付け角を調整したり、エレベーターにトリムタブを付けてみたりしています。
だいぶ良くはなりましたが、まだちょっとダウントリムぎみです。

@1105inaina コメントありがとうございます。今まで乗っていた機体はマックスエアー式ドリフターという機体で高翼機でした。主翼にぶら下がって飛んでるような感覚でしたが、このminiMAXは中翼機でコックピットが主翼中央部にあります。主翼上面を見ながら飛ぶ感んじになります。オープンコックピットなので飛んでる時に主翼に触ることも出来ます。何か不思議な感覚でした。主翼が風をつかんでいるような感覚がダイレクトに伝わってくる飛行機です。
