The gun sucks! I own it, it is not worth a $300 spend versus some of the Echo 1 or somethings out there! ICS makes great guns! however, this gun is NOT worth it, and does NOT live up to their quality!

@Killery96 ummm wrong? Unless you are an idiot who uses .20's and .12's it will far out perform an echo 1. I have the same rifle and have had both a utg and echo. Considering how I beat on my AEG's I can tell you this. 1. the externals are way stronger in matches, the most damage i have done to this is where the stock became loose, compared to both the UTG 74 and Echo 1 losing handgrips and full stocks over the year I've owned them. the 6.04mm barrel is awesome compared to the shitty 6.10 echo1

@FallenAquila the only problem with it is that you need to buy 74style magazines. if you use 47 style mags, they will not sit in the well deep enough to feed properly. Considering how there is enough cheap mags, that isn't and issue for running field legal midcaps. Grab a m120 spring and use some .25's and you are all set to go, this gearbox is strong enough to handle the spring, unlike echo1's so called "steel gearbox"

think it is one and the same. If you look at the box in the video it has the box next to AK-74M checked so i think the reviewer just didnt write the M.

ICS AK 74 is the copy of AK 74M. This "M" version was the first AK with plastic stock that's all.

Depends on the gun you get. A guy I played with had a highly upgraded PSG-1 sniper and could take us all out with pop-shots from a great distance that we couldn't touch.
