  • hey nice crash???? anyway im hopefully going to get this and i was asking, is this easy to fly? and i mean, not like co axial, i mean is it stable? teh total in my cart is 113, how much was urs?

  • @Kpilot786457 well i got mine like 2 years ago so it was prob about $140 total. It's stable but you will def crash it and fix it. I crashed mine like 12 times before I could really do figure 8s.

  • @notasixpack lol my third ever heli flight was a crazy 8 figure..

  • @Chansaux on purpose? ;)

  • Ah bummer! I hope your still flying it!

  • @vanepico oh yeah but it's much different now.. carbon frames etc. I have gotten much better too.

  • Your german is much better, than the german of a real german :) My english is not the best, too.

Can i ask which setup you have for your HK450? Mainly the Swashplate-servos and your motor.

  • @12golgaa Ha I had to look up a few words. Let's see I started with hxt900s for cyclic, then moved to mg-14s. MG-14 quality has gone down though and 25% of the ones I get don't work properly. I now like to use d213f digital servos for $9 from xheli. com but shipping out of country is very expensive. I like either the turnigy 2836-3700 motor or better is the 2218 3450kv motor. They now have a new 2218 3550kv motor I ordered to try.

  • @notasixpack

It´s nice of you, to try to speak german :)

I still use the hxt900 servs for cyclic. digital servos for 9$ is a lovely price. 20$ for shiping...hmmm?! But if i buy more,it may be worthwhile.

    where u find the 2218?

    best regards from germany

  • @12golgaa hobbycity. com. The original 2218 is 3450 kv. Now there's a new one that's 3550kv. I have not tried the new one. The old 3450kv one has plenty of power with 13T pinion. I'll try 1 of the new ones and see. Yeah xheli's shipping overseas is not worth it.

  • Das Problem hat ich bisher zum Glück nich, aber dafür ein Anderes^^

  • @12golgaa Ich habe seit weggeschnitten dem [Canopy]. Mein Deutsch ist nicht gut

  • not a bad crash at least

  • @lighturpl3 ive crashed much worse since.. can hardly tell it's an hk450 anymore ;)

  • I can do inverted and loops in the sim too, but in real life.. not yet. It's a lot harder. Between the 450 and 250, if you havent done a ccpm heli before, get the 450. More stable and less susceptible to wind. And parts everywhere.

  • Would you suggest me to buy a hk 450 or the upcoming hk 250? I have spent almost 3 hours in the sim with t-rex 500 and I can do figure eights, loops, rolls, a little inverted hovering (for about 30sec).

  • How much did the crash cost you?

  • tough to say since i replaced the head with copterX. But let's see.. broken parts.. $8 blades, $5 mixing arms, $2 main shaft, $2 feathering shaft, $8 main blade holders, $0.95 gearset for 1 servo. prices approximate.
