The black cat killed me. I have a black cat, Someone dumped her, she was very thin but she has to live on my porch because We're allergic and are not allowed to have cats in our house, It gets very cold but I feed her and hold her and she goes for car rides. My baby girl Krissy <3

If I were there, I would adopt as many as my I can. I love dogs and cats soooo much. At least, they have org to help them like that, in my country... they are left on streets, and easy to get killed. :(

I would love to adopt all animals in shelters, but unfortunetly, that cant happen, but thats why I donate toys, food, and money to shelters. And when im looking to add a furry friend to the family, I always go to my local shelter first. DONT BREED OR BUY WHILE HOMELESS DIE! I love shelter animals!

What a beautiful video! Only idiots can not like something like this video. I have adopted my two puppies from a shelter and they are the best dogs ever. They brought joy and lots of unconditional love into my life. Tomorrow a new member will join our family - a cute 5 month -old female cat. I wish I could do much more to help this wonderful creatures at shelters. How can anyone consider buying a pet when many are being euthanised everyday?

I can't watch this without tearing up... volunteering is one of the most fulfilling things I have ever done! Fostering homeless kittens is so much work-but it is so worth it. Knowing I did something to make a difference in their little lives....I hope that they all found forever homes. Even if something happened (heaven forbid), at least I know that there was a time in their life when they were showered with nothing but love and care. <3...volunteer-you won't regret it!

a great way to help the shelter if ur short on money is to go down to ur local dollar store and buy pet supplies and donate to them to the shelter. its cheap, and it helps.

It is not always necessary to have a lot of money to help shelter pets, contact your local shelters to see how you can volunteer your time. These animals need help with their care, feeding, or just a loving visitor!

OMG I can't stop tearing up! I'm not from the States but the animal shelter problem is the same here, PLEASE adopt a pet instead of buying, all my fur babies were rescued or rehomed when their first families couldn't keep them anymore! God bless whoever made this video, so that means God bless HSUS in this case. Aw, this was really good. I think to get the point across better though, you could have made it so that last dog never got adopted, and after a few more weeks, 2 vets came, took him out of the cage, and took him to a table with a needle, and he fell asleep slowly, then his body was soon taken to a freezer. That way, people will know that instead of feeling bad for the dogs, they will have to come and adopt one, instead of just thinking someone else would adopt that pet...

Thankyou for posting this. There are many wonderful animals that have ended up in shelters through no fault of their own...I got my cat through a rescue group and most of my other pets have been from rescue. My next pet will be from a rescue group or shelter too.
