Those outside the US who's countries subscribe to the Global Technical Regulations for motor vehicles (UNECE), should note that one must *not* use the rear fog lamps as hazard-warning flashers. (Amber is used for this function).
They must be steady burning, the circuit must have a separate 3-pole switch with a pilot light or LED telltale,- yellow in colour (to notify the driver the rear fog is 'on'. Power is fed from from the front fog light positive (if fitted) or the low-beam headlights.
theres already wire connected to the rear fog..if you know u can just check where it goes to..at the end you cut the wire and connect them with the taillight wires thats it..
So how do you get them to operate as running lights AND brake / turn signals ?? Those bulbs and sockets are SINGLE ELEMENT so you NEED to have my harness to make the single element bulbs (or LED's) act as dual element.
Our turn signals must be Orange. They are completely separate to the tail and brake lights.
I think having the tail lights as turn signals is pretty silly. Fucking awesome car though. I wanna get one ASAP, but one with orange turn signals/hazards!
beno7398 is right. American car makers are stupid. DOT is stupid. Amber signals are more visible, safer and way less confusing. With the stupid americans who don't give a fuck, 2 blown bulbs and no more lights to the rear end. <that's stupid as hell.
@FMuscleZ28 Big damn deal guys. Its just fuck'n lights, if u dont like it then go somewhere that has what u want instead of having a bitch fest with ur boyfriend beno.
I custom make them by hand. They are totally plug and play and only take ten minutes to install. I can make them for either LED or Halogen bulbs. My video has the stock Halogen bulbs installed.
