@GalaxyPowerTy I watched all of loss, They all seem to relate to each other in some way. This one was quite cool but there are loads of cool scenes. I guess its actually quite good, because of the whole son father thing...
completely forgot about this scene til i rewatched the seasons. Pretty unfortunate seeing as this is one of the best scenes throughout the run of the series
@SwedishLigando I doubt he actually misplaced his wallet, it's just an expression, he's tapped out of cash. And even if he was out of cash he still could have just called Jack collect. But like Christian says... he won't call "Because I am weak."
This is why this is such a great show. It's about people. Their hopes, their dreams, their sins and their trangressions. Their faults, their strengths and their weaknesses. The people they've loved and betrayed. The lies they've told and the truths they've revealed. The people they've wronged, the lives they've saved and the friendships made and broken. The show isn't even really about The Island. It's about these people.
@david2xx8 im pretty sure they purposely wouldnt leave the label of the scotch they are drinking so they wouldnt have to deal with the company, but not sure on this.
my question is, in scenes like this, is that real 80 proof whiskey they are actually takin shots of and getting drunk in the scene as their acting? if i was in charge i would make sure of that, helps the acting if anything.
Because I am weak.

If you think the relationship him and Jack, you get it. But even thought you didnt watch LOST, this scene made us thinking about "son-father".

@rhyno1713 Pretty unfortunate? It didn't even make the top 200 greatest LOST scenes list.

After my slight disappointment in the writing of sixth season, I forgot how good the writing was throughout the show. Absolutely great.

The way Christian looks when Sawyer says says "leave the bottle" is very good... A perfect face that an alcoholic would make

Jack's daddy is a badass

The thing is, he can't just pick up the phone and call Jack because he misplaced his wallet, remember? And James isn't a millionaire.

@nourali2 Ha no he actually did. An earlier episode shows when Jack goes back to Christian's hotel and finds his wallet there.

I gotta admit it. One of the Best All Time Lost Scenes!
The Scene where Sawyer tells Jack about this conversation is also awesome!

@Soskouy Trust me, it's a lot easier to act drunk than it is to have any stage presence while loaded. I'm sure it's colored water/tea/juice.

I hate to be lame, but the lighting in this scene is fucking fantastic! gives the scene a great feel.
