GibsonSG-special faded / BOSS GT8 play some blues

yup i have a 2008 sg special faded. its nice to see and feel the wood rather than have coats of paint and lacquer. it sounds fantastic and a dream to play.

I've got a 2008. Those tone & vol pots are darn stiff though. Might have to upgrade.

ive played both and im a les paul owner but the sg needs some getting used to. the brodge is more forward than the les paul so its kinda awkward but u will get used to it.

I've got a Faded myself, and I love it.

I really wouldn't exchange it for another guitar unless I could get one of those super fancy VOS Les Pauls or SG's.

There's just something that make the Faded feel so incredibly to play, It's a very amazing instrument.

My personal opinion of the instrument is a 10 / 10, Especially if you consider the price!

But the faded SG is really a good guitar , and I love to play on it :)

I have the same guitar. You certainly did justice on that SG Faded Special. Great tone!!! It really is great guitar, and only $579.00 at guitar center. A great value on an American made guitar.

I don´t think it´s any better , all Gibson guitars always have very high standars :)

I have the same great feeling in this SG like I have in my old ES 335.

in germany the Faded ones are 100€ cheaper than the regular finish ones!

connected with my GT-8 and studiomonitors  (Fostex PM1)

The GT8 sound I use is "American DS"
