  • All these graduations, can't help but wonder how many are actually gonna be worth the money spent to educate and train them.

  • 1:47 now why would he do that...

  • The USAFA may be tough and hard, but it's also very rewarding.

  • that isn't just a navy admiral, that is the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff

  • 1400... My high school graduation class will have 1800 :D

  • All those brand new "butter bars"!

  • @ Arthaszs If you pass your Mitchell Award then maybe.

Only 10% of USAFA cadets but 80% of cadets end up going to Military Academies

  • @DieWalrossen

Yeah thats very true. Only I'm in the Civil Air Patrol so 80% of cadets get accepted. So I have a high chance.

  • @Arthaszs I was in CAP as well. I highly doubt that 80% of cadets get accepted. CAP means jack squat if you don't have the grades, athletics, and other EC's to go along with it. Not everyone of those cadets (certainly not 80%) have all that.

  • My cousin was a graduate here, we were at the ceremony.... i was so bored hahahaha

  • @teriyakininjaXxXx

haha yeah htat stuff is boring. But for the people graduating there is no better feeling. I can't wait to go there. I just sent in my application and everything

  • @teriyakininjaXxXx I think any graduation you go to would be boring. I don't think they're designed to be entertaining but, rather, to be a ceremony to recognize 4 hard years of work.

  • That's not just "an admiral in the Navy," that's the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

  • @SamHagagaga

Sam, you're absolutely right, and I've shot interviews w/ Adm. Mullen three times here in Colo. Spgs. since he was named as Chairman of JCOC. I regret that I'm not able to upload the graphics that we use for our stories as he was appropriately titled there. In my narration I shortened his title to try and capture the humor Adm Mullen used in his speech when broaching the Air Force Navy rivalry.

  • Great job! I love the color and the T-birds shots...

My son was one of the 1001 who graduated last Wednesday, so I am soaking up as much video as I can. Thanks!
