  • @hobisbhaicha1234 its called take a joke.

  • im 12 and i pitch 90 on a bad day.

  • @Naxxlax pfft sure yu do

  • ill tell u my truth. im 13 and pitch 75 from 60 ft distance

  • they look like bull dogs

  • how come every high schooler who post a comment on youtube can pitch 80-90 as a "freshmen" or "sophmore"....except @isixpac....cause @isixpac is cool.....and he tells the truth :p

  • Guys, speed is not everything there is to pitching.

Maddux, Moyer... these pitchers could (and still can in Moyer's case) make a batter look silly with slow pitches, relying solely on great location and movement, as well as near-pregoc level intuition forged through experience.

Japanese pitchers don't rely on speed as much as they rely on location and movement. If anyone says they suck, they're just two time WBC champions.

  • i throw 72 and im just about to go into highschool.

  • @iSixPac finally someone honest..

  • @iSixPac Congrats on being average

  • none of you know shit about baseball shut up even me just shut up youre not cool go work on your game

  • a good high school fastball is definitely above 80 lol

  • The harder you throw, the farther the homeruns you give up are going to go. If you play baseball in Texas seeing below 90 is uncommon

  • we played this team called the blitz for travel ball and this 14 year old was clocked at 79mph, i was at 75mph

  • this dude fucking blows hard. and its all bullshit, plenty of pitchers in high school touch the 90's.

  • im 15 and 6'2 and i can throw 80-82 and i got a sick curve

  • @Kronk123456789 really... NO ONE FUCKING CARES

  • I am 34, and cant throw worth shit?

  • im only 6 years old and ive been clocked at 95 with a dirty curve

  • @lilpudge15dpl dude u r 6 years old the mlb berly trow 95 mph n ur 6 years old n you trow 95 yea bs

  • @talavera123456789 i just turned 7 and i went to a camp where they clocked me at 97 and my slider is 90 with an 80 mph changeup

  • @lilpudge15dpl stop bullshiting!!!!!!!!!!

  • 16 ive be timed at 88 to 90 . but u dnt need speed to get strikes. all u need is location

  • @IIxDEEZYxII this is the dumbest comment i've seen

  • @IIxDEEZYxII U need speed to keep them from smashing the ball over the fence. You need speed for strikes. Im 13, and can throw a fastball at about 73-75. That gets strikes. If I threw it 55 down the middle, over the fence. Speed matters in pitching.

  • @hcvideoproductions No, you need control to throw strikes. Once you get past little league it doesn't matter how fast you throw, because people will hit it. Unless you're steven strausburg.

  • @TomMark182 Yes, control does matter. Without control, you throw balls. But, if you throw it accurately, but slow, you are going to get hit off of. A lot. You need speed to get it past the batter, and control to get it in the zone. You need both, like stephen Strasburg.

  • 14 throwin 68-73 nasty sinker

  • im 15 5'7 a lefty playing jv throw about bewteen 75-80

  • @baseballf0life No one fucking cares!!!! Fuckofff and i bet hes better than u!!

  • Comment removed

  • thats not gonna cut it in the majors kid....

  • @89tinkerbutt youre a douche bag. stop being so full of yourself

  • ive hit 95mph and im in high school

  • @baseballkilla17 I didn't believe you then i looked at your acount touche sir

  • ok i heard soemone say the average highschool fastball is 85....not true...its 78....and abenge is right.....an 89 mph fastball is tough to hit

  • oh my god you guys need to relaze that ITS 89 can any of you throw that fast i dont give a shit who you know that can throw 90 there are only a small amount of people that can throw that fast so remember it takes 3/10 of a second to react to a 89 mph fast can any of you hit that? i doubt it

  • This Guy is a Fucking Retard!!!!!!!!!!!

  • really they try to make it sound special its not many peolpe i know in my own high school average 85 and why would the kid want to throw meat to the batter, he makes contact that ball is going to sail pretty far

  • are you fucking kidding me. these guys are pussy's. talking about throwing cheese. they hit low to mid eighty' s. i know plenty of guys in cali that hit low 90's. Hell, i use to hit 87 junior year and 90 senior year. this guy is a tard.

  • slow down willy mo pena, will you stop if we all say we think your tough?! u need some pussy do you some good

  • Bryce Harper..... lmfao

  • what do good steroids ad to a pitcher that throws 95 mph? 100?

  • 0:28. "Nobody on the local highschool scene has touched 90"

I can give you 20+ kids who threw 90mph+ around the Houston area this year

  • ok..give us the names then?

or are u just another youtube liar?

  • I will give you the names if you really want them, even though the kids wouldnt want their names out on some website in a list for some odd purpose....but I'll message you a list if you want?

  • no steroids dont make a huge different as they are made out to be. THe truth is they are slight.

  • Senior year in high school I was an all state pitcher and could throw a consistent fastball at 91mph. There was atleast one guy I knew in the state that could touch 96mph. This guy talking on the video has no clue. I will say he is right that a minor portion of the population can reach 90. When you make videos and post them on the internet at the very least try to be educated on the topic you wish to talk about.

  • lmao fireballers at 80!? nobody in highschool throws 90?! all my 4 years we had at least 2 kids over 90 and 2 at high 80s.

  • im w u all our jrs throw igh 80's low 90's Suffrn H.s. n were in New York which isn as big as Cali n Texas or Fl seriously this is a joke i threw 80's jr yr...problem was we really couldnt hit

  • these kids aint nothin

At my high school we have a graduating senior that threw 94 tops and 91 consitantly. Also he hit .571 this seanson over twenty games. His name is Christian Powell.

  • <---91-93 into my Senior Year of College with not ONE but TWO Out Pitches. Probably won't even make it, was just a Draft & Follow pick back in 05'. 6"4 225lbs.

Stick with education guys, even some of you young spry guys throwing hard, never put all your chips in one pot. Best wishes Fastballers.

  • 90 mph no control = shit

  • thats true ballin... if you're that good why would you even bother braggin about it on you tube

  • alright guys i highly doubt all of u are playing top state baseball solet me get this straight im 13 and i throw like 60-65 and i, 5'10 ad 215,yes i no im pretty tall and big but if ur 14 to15 and throw 85accurate u wouldnt have time to talk on youtube ud be busy being scouted so dont go sayin im 14 and throw 98 because its bull

  • hey 69z28500hp what high school do u go to cause i live in kentucky and i've never heard of him, i live in louisville

  • Just cause you havent heard of him doesnt mean he isnt there... I throw just as hard, and I guarentee there isnt a person in my state who knows I can...

  • patrick robinson, a little cocky eh?

  • No one cares about these stupid high school stats

  • Nolan Ryan kick helps.

  • Watch out for Brett Pittman from Kentucky..He throws in 90s with good offspeed. He pitches may 2 at Applebees in lexington ky AT 10.00 am

  • my high school teammate was clocked at 94 mph senior year signed with boston minor leagues

  • i dont give a flying fuck you ass turd. i can personally gauruntee that's not true.

  • Comment removed

  • bull

  • nah i know a guy his name is seth english he is 14 and he throws low 80s

  • congratulations you fuck meat

  • I'm just saying, people are talking about how it's almost impossible to thow that hard at a low age but this kid can

  • dustin antolin from hawaii hit 94mph

joey aquino from hawaii hit 90mph and hes only 5'10

bryson namba from hawaii also can hit 92mph

  • u should be throwing way harder if ur 6'4

i throw harder im only 5'9

  • i topped 85 im a freshman in highschool 5'6 righty

  • no chance

  • oh yes its true...

  • no chance

  • Ok. I got a big problem with what he says.

Correction, almost every person on earth have the potential to throw over 90mph and still hit the zone. Only a few can do 95 plus on the spot, but 90 is a very simple goal.

The problem is what do you consider accurate? At lower level, split the zone in 9, hit one of these except the center one. In MLB, accuracy is the ball plus half an inch. The first one is absolutly achievable. The second, it might be harder to get people to do it.

  • i play JV baseball for my highscool (freshman) and our best pitcher on varsity pitches 92. he had 23 punch outs one game.

  • there are 21 outs in a seven inning high school game. I do not see how he can K 23 guys unless he is wild and dropped third strikes happen, or if you are tied and go into extra innings, which probably isn't the case if you have guys throwing 92 in your JV team. Also guys that throw 92 are going to be on Varsity.

  • im 14 , 6 ft 4 and i hit 88

  • who gives a fuck

  • Ha really.

  • that robinson guy could put 5 more mph on his fastball if he pushed off the rubber with his leg (instead of just reaching out the front leg) and got his back to that "ironing board" effect by extending towards home

  • im 14 and hit 81. this guy is like 17 and only throwing 4 miles per hour faster than me?

  • im 14 and i throw 75

  • shut up faggot nobody gives a SHIT, if you have to post comments like that on youtube then you obviously have self esteem problems and NO friends. and i gauruntee you do NOT throw 75, I'm average height, 15 years old, and i worked for 3 months straight this offseason and I only throw 67-70

  • Well, working out doesnt make you throw harder. It's about mechanics mostly. When I was 14 I threw about 75-78. I'm 16 now and throw about 85-86

  • bitch fuk u u just hatin cuz im younger than u and i play highskool ball already u fukkin lil faggot i hope u burn un hell for bein a hare u litlle bitch

  • ude, 67-70 thats pretty sad,how tall, weight? anyway ur probably right , this kid cant throw 75

  • maybe u arent as good cuz im 15 (freshman) and throw around 80

  • well i just threw 5 innings, 2 earned runs, and 4 strikeouts against one of the top 5 high school teams in my state and earned a win, so i'm pretty sure i'm as good as you

  • I doubt you are if you throw 67-70, you probably just threw the entire team off guard with how slow you throw. What class is the school in in what state? That will tell us how good that ream really is... Try playing 6A baseball in Oklahoma, or 5A in Texas, you will be smashed.

  • you're right, i don't throw very fast, but my fastball has lots of movement. we are division II, but we play and beat some of the d1 teams. and i live in maine. if you think maine has bad baseball, then you're wrong, our varsity team went to florida and split their games against other teams from all over the country, and the 41st overall pick this year was a high schooler in the town next to mine. And yeah obviously our school probably isn't as good as some crazy texas teams, so what?

  • Wow... the 41st pick.... 18th pick was from a town next to me. And a ton of the top 20 picks were from Texas...

  • dude either way they made it to the bigs

  • also, Going to tourneys doesn't really make a team good... I play on a pretty bad 6A team... We went to Texas for a tournament with Georgia, Missisippi, Cali, Tennesee, Florida, New Mexico and did fairly well.

  • Thats bullshit they said hes hit 89 doesnt mean hes throwing 89 in the video. dumb ass.

  • theres a freshman at my school who has been clocked at 88. low 80's is batting practice...

  • i love how every1 trys to lie and fight and argue on this thing meanwhile youtube doesnt mean shit.......get a scholarship to a D1 baseball school nd post that on youtube than we all shall be impressed......btw im 15 nd i throw 75

  • everyone talks mad ish, but with no videos to back up there talk. check mine out if u think im a hypoctrit..oh, and i got d-1 scholarship to oakland university (MI)

  • i know a kid thats 14 thats supoesed to hit 80 this year come on

  • you gotta be joking...thats like 80ish and this guy looks outta shape

  • these guys might be considered good in whatever state this is, but in florida, they would just be cosidered average......mabe.

  • agreed

  • it all depends on ur body and when u mature. A couple years ago in the llws a kid was throwing 83 and topped out at 85. His mom said hes been shaving since 10 and gets a 5 oclock shadow. I am 18 and throw 84 on the mound and 88 from short stop. I was throwing 72 on the mound my junior year. Its all about growing into ur body. I have finally stopped growing and am able to lift weights.

High school average is 75 actually and only 300 hs players throw 90 consistently on a mound average.

  • im a freshmen, and max out at about 81.

  • this shits funny

  • how old do you think these guys are, i am hoping to hit that kinda spead soon!

  • hey u guys are fuckin terrible. mid 80s isnt that impressive

  • i agree with you and mkeets. 80 is not that impressive. i play in socal and there are several pitchers on my team alone who sit at 90 or more. and we have a kid who just came from hawaii who throws f'in GAS!!!! not trying to brag just trying to justify

  • what kid from hawaii?

  • Bullshit

  • think what you will but its true and youre an old man who prolly doesnt know shit so call me out all you want guy

  • Their aren't 'several' pitchers that can throw 90 plus for the Dodgers or Angels, Cal St Fullerton, UC irvine, or USC, let alone some High School program, so you aren't fooling anyone.

Nice grammar by the way, you just confirmed you are an uneducated dipshit.

  • youre a fuckin retard because the first word of your post is incorrect grammer dumbass so next time youre gonna tell someone that, you should prolly just keep your mouth shut. and yes there are on all of those teams you stupid fuckhead it would be harder to find someone who doesnt throw 90. in fact, my team just scrimaged cal state fullerton a couple weeks ago because im in college not high school. so since i just pitched against them a few weeks ago i think i might know what im talkin about

  • If you are actually in college, you really should worry about your studies rather than baseball, because it is obvious you just aren't that smart. The decline of the California educational system is quite apparent by your inability to competently express yourself using the English language, and for the record, I am quite sure I have FORGOTTEN more about baseball that you will ever know.

I bet you are the bat boy anyway...

  • show us a video of you pitching then mr. hard ass

  • ok ...befriend me on this thing and give me a week or two, 'cause our season is just starting, and ill have it up

  • r u retarded? yeah it is

  • im from hawaii and even down here where our island with a total population of 1 million people and where we are at about sea level (meaning its harder to throw hard; better for breaking balls). we have atleast 6 or 7 pitchers on oahu who can top off at about 94 and throw at an average of 88-92. so your district must have horrible pitchers......

  • ur fastball has great movement

  • is this a division 3 high school or something?

in south Texas we have at least 1 kid per team throwing 90's

    most sophmores throw mid 80's

  • bull shit, most sophomores dont throw mid 80s anywhere! average high school fastball is 78 mph

  • um i played on marlboro and no one threw 93 def not from burke catholic

  • EHHH.. Im 16 throwin Around 85 consistley no One touches me if Im Throw Strikes even throw slow.

  • to me, i think location of the pitch is more significant than the speed

  • Dude needs to hit his inhaler

  • GREAT VID MAKE MORE!

  • LMAO at the second guy talking. WHAT A FAG!

  • I threw 93 mph my senior year in 2007 at burke catholic so i have no idea where this guy got his facts from but he is WRONG!!!! I was a local high school Pitcher Looks like a local high school pitcher has hit 90 So this guy needs to get his facts before making videos like this...
