Also I don't see why alot of you guys would've preferred this one over the one we got. Aside from the extra missions & characters this looks like it wouldn't have offered much. Visually it looks horrible compared to the final and some of the features are ridiculous (blowing up a school bus with children on board, seriously?) or just not really noticable (does anyone really care what color the cop cars are?)

Even if 9/11 didn't happen and the game was released with all those things in it, it probably would have caused way more controversy than the final GTA3 did. I read somewhere that they were originally going to make it set in New York City but the game came out right after 9/11 so they had to change EVERYTHING and ultimately, it changed the entire series.

Theses two pictures in the begining are called "Concept Render", which is just a 3D render (who was done with 3DS max) to give an idea of the actual game.

So there is nothing that was playable in these renders.

Btw, we can see that there was much things who was changed, from the beta to the final version.

I prefer the "cartoon" render from the beta version, who fit better for this GTA, based on my opinion :p

I noticed that 0:54 that LCPD cop cars look more closer to the 1991-1996 Chevrolet Caprice and almost look like the Merit from GTA SA in the Alpha version whereas in the later betas and the final they are a little bit smaller and a hybrid mix between the Chevrolet Caprice and the Ford Crown Victoria. I bet the Alpha versions of the taxi cabs are also like the cop cars too.
