if it is not, I think it is because they want to rely more on pistols. pistols has some danger in it. You won't feel happy if someone is aiming a gun at you. But if a guy stands in front of you and says he can knock you out with one move, I probably wouldnt be scared and would laugh at him. thats my explanation!

valid argument. but only for the police academy case. maybe they aren't able to master "that" high level of martial arts. and it is not as effective as a gun for psychological purposes. "how do i know?" i don't know that's the reason you should question instead of assuming it's real(or fake). I'm ready to believe that it is real if it fits reality bit more. do you think religions are there because of evidential facts? it is purely on blind faith.

I don't think you should compare this with a religion. This can be simply explained by neuro-biology. Have a look at some websites.

I don't exactly know what you mean by the frontier of reality. But reality as I know is people are warm, their minds are dirty, but their purpose is not, we are all same with a little difference, there is no supernatural beings, there is no ghost, there is no afterlife, there is happiness, lust, greed,joy,there is no hero, there is body of a dead soldier, there is no legend, there is no miracle, there is only everyday life with survival, lust and joy of laughing on the misfortune of others.
