@bobdonda ironically it is kind of similar to dustin's 'natural' gimmick haha. yeah i'm liking cody rhodes' gimmick atm. he's doing a great job with it and his mic and in-ring skills have improved a lot. in fact, he and mvp had the longest tv match of the year so far. it was like 25 minutes long or something. wwe have faith in him. for me, with their gimmicks, the only way they'd team is in a comedy kind of thing like you said with cody. it'd probably be a face team though haha.

I never agreed with that. Something can't by definition be a work and a shoot. Those promos are just called promos. Thats how EVERYTHING in wrestling used to be and should be again. Half the time the worked ones people thought were shoots and the people never seemed to think the shoots were shoots. Keep in mind just because a guy feels a certain way and says it before in the back or waits till he gets on camera to say it, doesnt make it a work. If thats true then any political speech is a work

To make a point much much later..."worked shoots" are supposed to be EVERy pro in wrestling. Thats how things used to be. Should the promos all be unbelievable. Thest best promo men in the modern era are the ones who do the worked shoots. guys like Foley,Raven & Cornette. Russo was right to tell them to go out there and shoot. Thats the same thing that made Shane Douglas a god on the mic. I'll never get fans that dont like anything to be believable or they have to point out why its not & bitch.
