I had done the "Permanent Bound Dagger Glitch" prior to performing this quest, and the dagger was broken. Upon exiting the dream world, I discovered a duplicate of the bound dagger in my inventory, only it was not broken and it had 8 damage instead of the appropriate six. ??????

@djdilstar I thought it was the mage recommendation too! It was so misleading. I think someone else besides Ku-Dei should give this quest, because Ku-Dei also gives the reccomendation quest.
