  • Nice work it's a really nice tune. i would love to learn this on guitar but i'm still learning basic chords. what chords are you using?

  • @Movendi hey there, Bmin is the main one in this

  • This is a beautiful song played on an instrument i didn't think was able to do such. I have much respect for you sir!

  • @Bayne232 Many thanks, really nice you've enjoyed this, thanks :)

  • There, you've just made my day, knowing that this can be played on the guitar. Lovely piece of work.

  • @Einzztein Thanks :) glad you enjoyed it!

  • Please provide tablature! =)

  • @elbeardo89 There are none. Its in my head and worked out first by ear, then piano sheet music.

  • you play well , and the song is ok , but too much trebles in your tone , you need more mids and bass , maybe try to switch to neck pickup position when you record .

  • @reppait yep, at the time I had no gear to record on (its another mans art), the mic was a webcam chat mic ie no dynamic range... I was also super aware of the legalities of making a pro recording of these without permissions etc... cheers for the sound advice :)

  • Wow!

  • @dlrkdus :) happy you enjoyed it... thanks

  • is this the song they use in "house" sometimes?

  • @iceakon not too sure... need to have a dig and find out :)

  • wow! beautiful, soulful, magic.

  • @DuncanPhotoGreen Really kind of you to say... many thanks and i'm happy you've enjoyed listening to it...

  • once again amazing man!!!! crazy talent!!!xx

  • @dannophillip1 many thanks :) really happy you've enjoyed this! Cj

  • Thank you for this moment...

  • @MichamCamil glad and honoured to share it with you dude.. its all we've got is the moment

  • i didn't know you also could play those fast piano nummers on guitarxD

    REALLY GOOD

  • @bartiiiooo Thanks! yeah the only problem with them is your fingers feel like they're going to trip up over eachother and fall off the guitar :) thanks alot

  • oh my goodness it's amazing i absolutley love it :)

  • @littlenightmarex3 :) thanks alot, really happy you've enjoyed listening to it

  • this would be absolutely amazing... if only it were recorded in higher quality! But top stuff mate, has that same kind of ethereal quality that Einaudi's music needs, keep it up :)

  • @QBramz totally kind of you to say, i know what you mean about quality too... this recording hail from waaaay back in the day of the 5mp camera :) thanks alot and happy you enjoyed that

  • It remembers to me a celtic sound, I don't know why! :)

    However very good rendition!

  • @LetiziaBosi i know what you mean, it got that kinda beat to it like that sort of music... glad yyou enjoyed it, thanks

  • @LetiziaBosi It's because of the natural minor.

  • @kipyme Sorry, I think I haven't understood your explanation (i'm italian, it's very difficult talking about music in another language: I try as I can ^^).

However I was talking about the tone, about the sound of the guitar doing this piece.

I'm a pianist, it's so different listening to Passaggio this way :)

  • @kipyme I thank so much you for your italian explanation, I think I have understood :D very kind of you! Yes, you're right, he often uses natural minor scales and this is particular, compared with the usual european compositions.

But I just noticed this piece, done on the guitar, has totally another sound, talking about impressions, obviously =): tecnically there aren't differences in the melody.

I hope to have explained clearly my idea ^^.

  • Very beautiful! It's a very different sound to the piano version, but I really like it! Keep up the good work :)

  • thanks alot for that and yep i'll keep it up for sure, i would love to ba able to do this on a piano... hmmm maybe someday :)

  • is there a tab ? =D

  • hey there, sorry but i've none

  • Great stuff again. Take it you are using reverb here...

again the electric work so beautifully. Kenny - Fife

  • glad you've enjoyed it Kenny! at the time there were a few reasons to do this on the elec.. the acoustic guitar totally killed my left hand after about the first 30 seconds :) (bit of a winp out but it was soooo sore he he) yep theres a good dash of rvb in there too :) thanks again Cj

  • wow good job :]] i like this one an the i giornii ^^ how long did it take for you to play this and not make any mistakes?

  • a good couple of months, and even then some slips here and there :) I remember actually the moment i started on it.. i sat and said "some pieces are erally not meant for guitars! and almost stopped but i love this piece so much i just wanted to be able to play it (even badly), time made it grow a lil more and it became a lil more forgiving underfinger :).... sometimes :)..... thanks for the kind comment

  • awesome :)

  • i think...very beautifull!!

  • :) i'm happy you've enjoyed listening

  • thankyou ! :)

  • Interesting version on the guitar.

  • I still prefer the piano :)

  • Very beautiful indeed! =)

Not sure if this is too much to ask, but

could you make a tutorial for this song aswell like you did with I Giorni and Le Onde? =)

  • hey there, i'm glad you've enjoyed it :)

  • i got your vid in my favo's....

so ti will eb watched a lot =[)

  • Aw kind of you.. as below, i'm happy you've liked this so much :)

  • ur the best =[) great

  • He he Einaudi's the one to take the credit here for sure :) I'm well happy you've enjoyed this !

  • Very impressive how you managed to play two melodies simultaneously.

  • combinations of hammering on, pulling off, tied notes and alot of sliding about... at 51 and 52 seconds of this video is possibly (for me) the most difficuly part to get right on the guitar as the notes are grouped so close together that the melody almost joins the basslines.. le onde is the same he he theres just some notes you have to leave out...

glad you liked it :) thanks for the comment!

  • COMPLIMENTS FROM ITALY!! =)

  • many thanks :)

  • that was a joy to listen to, i think this is atleast as good as the original if not better

  • tell you what.. its wellll difficult to try and get that lovely "walking at pace" thing Einaudi gets when its a guitar... cos you "slip n'slide" about playing this cos of the ties... i wish someone could show me it on piano he he might see how he does it... thanks for the kind comment :)

  • looks difficult! have you got a tab for it

  • Hey there, soorree... no tabs for any fo it..

  • damn NICE!!! *****

  • Its a really lovely work this one, for me i really dig the pulse Einaudi creates with it, its got a good beat :)

  • u show the pulse directly :) really amazing!

convert ur song to mp3... i need your music in my car :)

  • BEAUTIFUL!!!

    Just absolutely beautiful...

    xxx

  • :))) thanks, its real nice you've enjoyed it x

  • Brilliant! The Guitar definately gives this song something different!

    Totally loving it xx

  • :)) you made me smile :))

  • Haha bless... :) x

I guess now I'm back to reply to this comment I'll have to listen again.. what 'torture!' hehe!

  • Wow, grazie mille! Sei bravissimo!!!! :-)

  • Lovely comment :) many thanks !

  • i'm just in love with this song...

great to hear this one on a guitar!

  • Many thanks for that :) i'm happy you've enjoyed it! cool guitaring on your channel dude!!

  • well, not really the same genre i play (and not even half as hard compared to your videos), but still happy you like it ;-)

    keep up the good work!

  • sound nice but it is and will be a song for the piano sooo....... yeah u get it i think :P

but u get 5 stars from me for trying

  • Piano is for sure king for these works, my problem is that i cannot play one :)) thanks for the comment!

  • Very good, grande, bellissimo, quasi più bella della versione al piano.

  • Thanks and i'm happy you've liked this! :) I think the piano brings such a crispness that guitars just can't he he :)) thanks again!

  • This is superb. Thanks for creating and sharing !

  • your most welcome, i'm happy you enjoyed it ! :)

  • i have never heard einaudi on guitar before, sounds absoluteley amazing, keep it up.

  • :) thanks alot! I sure will and i'm happy you liked it

  • I know I commented on "Questa Notte", but I'm compelled to do it again. Wow. It sounds so haunting with the electric guitar, the slight echo makes it sound so much richer. Brilliant!

  • Many thanks :) i'm glad you enjoy these !

  • This is amazing. I love listening to it. That guitar is so awesome too. :D I can sorta play this on the piano... How long did it take you to pick this up?

  • hey there, thanks alot and i'm real happy you enjoy listening to it :) it took about 6 months and quite alot of playing about with "where to play it", some of these Einaudi works don't sit too well but i just love em so what the heck :).. time does most of the work when you learn these (6 years ago), thanks again!

  • I can play passaggio on the clarinet, but this is something else..

    well done!

  • thats amazing, how do you do that? thanks for the kind comment :)

  • I cheated - i heard the clarinettist emma johnson playing it on one of her albulms, so i went out and bought the book of the albulm.

I did try writing it out myself, but it proved to be quite difficult as she was playing it on an Aflat clarinet, and mine is Bflat

  • How difficult is it to play on clarinet ??, i'm thinking of getting the score

  • Its not too bad - about grade 5/6 stadard

  • It's about grade 5/6 standard, but its not really that difficult

  • kk i think i'll get it then i'm about grade 5

  • good - its a really nice piece, and the other stuff that was in the book is quite good too

  • hey that was amazing! Well done! You're really talented!! :)

  • i'm real happy you enjoyed listening to it :) thanks for the kind comment

  • That was truly amazing! Very well done.

  • real nice of you to say:)

  • You're amazing! For the most part you are very precise. Excellent joy. :-)

  • many thanks! i'm happy you liked it :)

  • wow this sounds unbelievable.... i think it takes such skill to do something like this. i like it alot. thanks. and good job. x

  • real nice of you to say and i'm happy you liked it :) and yup its a lil tricky to get em up'n running he he lots of notes :) at 38 to 43 seconds into this was a personal nightmare to work out.. and it only lasts 5 seconds... madness he he :)

  • and great video btw

  • i dont suppose you've made tabs?

  • Hi there, sorry about the delayed reply, unfortunately i have no tabs for these works as i kind of stuck to what was on the sheet music (but not note for note as he has 10 fingers to use and guitars have 4 he he) thanks for listening :)

  • wow that was fantastic, great job!! :)

  • Many thanks :) glad you liked it!

  • I love this song. Really.

Anyway this is so wonderful and great and... good job! Really sounds like the original.

I still like the piano version more of course but I guess on guitar it couldn't be done better. =) Thanks for posting this.

  • Thank you Loeffly ! happy you liked it :)

  • awesome

  • :) thanks.. happy you liked it!

  • :) welcome

  • Like all ur other vids... outstanding :D

i only just started learning this the other day on piano and im gonna transpose it soon too :P

  • Thanks alot! good luck on both endeavors, will you try for a 2 hand tapping for it or chord it out?

  • my aim is to get it as close to the original as possible... and as much as i'd like to avoid tapping i think its inevitable... not thats anything wrong with it but picked notes sound nicer to me :-)

  • Thanks alot Carl :) there's still soooo many works by this sweet man's music i want to record and even more i'd love to learn.. well done again on your vids too!

  • Its really nice to hear Einaudi's music in a different context.. Another fantastic arrangement.. Keep'em coming!!
