  • well done to do all that by your self with a bow is hard nice buck!

  • @hondarider787 ur full of shit.... I live in Pittsburgh PA and see big ass bucks. I got a 142 20 point this year....

  • @bmxspon17 Allegheny County doesn't count. lol. Congrats on the 20 point

  • i cant make up my mind which is more impressive, video taping by yourself, it getting so close, or actualy finding a big buck like that in PA haha! i live in pa and NEVER see any bucks that big...

  • @hondarider787 Thanks and love the comment!

  • GUT SHOT

  • Poor shot but great video of good looking buck!

  • Dude, that's good stuff, he knew something wasn't right the whole time.

  • damn brother- looked like a gut shot; how far you have to chase that basterd down?

  • that was a terrible shot my friendd...

  • I bet he ran a good way, A little far back in the guts. Surprised you found him, Great job though.

  • ... and I'm not going to say if I killed it

  • @dlawndartw There's a link in the video to the followup footage. ;)

  • Not the greatest shot but very nice.

  • what county do u hunt in?

  • @ruddert1112 Beaver County

  • good kill, could of got the shot in a more vital organ, so it doesnt suffer as much, but its still a fantastic kill.

  • Waited alittle too long you probaly shot it in the gut but nice buck

  • Nice deer....good shot too!

  • that is a deer of a lifetime in newgland

  • having harvested 172 whitetales with bow and arrow all over newengland from main 2 Pennsylvania that deer detected u by sent on the tree u climbed or your entrance trail i dont think it made eye contact put he definitely was heading back where he came from shooting a buck like that with a bow in newengland is like shooting a 160 out west probably even harder make no mistake about it the further north u go bow hunting gets harder except 4 newjursy 4 trips 2 ill u see deer like that every day

  • try not to look at the deer. look at the ground below it... i think deer can actually feel your eyeballs on them... its crazy... or i just might be crazy

  • @jumpthenoob That's exactly what I was doing. I think it worked to an extent.

  • @jumpthenoob lol i thought i was the only one that did that

  • Why so many hateful comments??? the guy is just tryin to get his hunt on camera!! hes not a pro or anything like that! That was a nice buck! the shot was a little far back but it got the job done. So how bout we show a little hunter love and give the guy some respect.

  • ive learned over the few years ive bow hunted, when they see you like that dont move at all (duh) and also close your eyes. I noticed that when you dont close your eyes 9 times out of 10 their gone. but a few times i closed them because of frustration that i was not high enough in the tree and they stayed. i dont know if that is just luck or if it actually works. i guessed it was like ducks and looking at them when their trying to work

  • thats a tame deer in a fence

  • @67chevy350 Not at all

  • i hunt Maryland, PA and West Virgina and em bucks are smart in all 3 of the states.. u got lucky that it didnt run on ya. cause it seen ya and smelled ya. i think if u would have waited another few seconds it would have ran cause of the way it was actin. and that guy hookitbigger he prob never hunted around here before cause that was once in a life time deer right there cause most of the time round here them big bucks like that will run. u got lucky on that one.. but good video keep em up.

  • yea same here in NC smaller racked deer but harder to kill. Oh well

  • This is not a big buck for pa at all I live in Columbia county pa n I harvest a 145 to 160 inch buck every year pa is over hunted and their is a very poor buck to for ratio the average pa buck will score in the range of 60 to 90 inches but this is not a massive ten point I have a main frame 8 point that scores 1467/8 n he has 15 3/4inch g1s with a 24 inch inside spread he was aged at 2 1/2 years old

  • nice kill but im from pa myself and hunt in allgheny county

  • Good thing the deer in PA are as dumb as the people or that buck would have been long gone.

  • @hookitbigger I disagree with your statement as Pennsylvania's whitetail population are subjected to much more hunting pressure than other states and a mature buck there is borderline "un-killable".

  • @Whitefeather158 Couldn't agree more

  • @Whitefeather158 I agree, mature bucks are borderline "un-killable"...when you make borderline shots like that one! Man, way to far back even for quartering away!! Lucky you found him at all. Awesome buck though.

  • nice buck. they make a cam adapter that threads into the stabilizer hole. there is a trigger attachment that stickes to the bowgrip allowing you to make the shot and run the camera. i can't remember the name of the adapter but i seen it at the sportsman show in Harrisburg

  • nice buck. they make a cam adapter that threads into the stabilizer hole. there is a trigger attachment that stickes to the bowgrip allowing you to make the shot and run the camera. i can't remember the name of the adapter but i seen it at the sportsman show in Harrisburg

  • The deer ended up recovered and it wasn't butchered up and left wondering the country side.

  • Everybody now's what to do, most wont ever see a deer like this. I am sure he enjoyed the venison. Great deer. Gut shot whatever it happen's. Deer hunting is a crazy sport. Everything has to line up and you still cam miss!!!

  • Obviously gut shot. I see where you've told everybody how hard it is to film and shoot at the same time. Well Davy Crocket, it's like this. IF YOU CAN'T MAKE A GOOD SHOT, DON'T SHOOT. Furthermore, .... trying to accomplish this "feat" and making a terrible shot. Your hunting privledges should be revoked. This is outrageous.

  • @Wad9591 Well Johnny Wad, last I heard God hasn't made the perfect human yet, so until you prove me otherwise, stfu. ;)

  • @Whitefeather158 You're living proof of that. By the look of your name, one would think you may have some Native American blood. I know this can't be,because a Native would even dream about doing what you did here.

Worse yet was the fact that you actually posted the video for others to see. You might as well where a Dunce Cap when you go to town. It's really not that much different that what you've done here.

  • @Wad9591 Show me something better that you've done buddy. I post my hunts, the good and the bad. Sometimes you learn something from others' misfortunes, but I DID recover the deer using tracking skills as it wasn't the normal tracking job. If you've never put a bad shot on a deer with a bow, trust me one day it's coming. It happens to the best of us. It's what you do AFTER the bad hit that matters. I used that hunt in one of our DVD's and videoed the tracking job to educate rookie bowhunters.

  • @Whitefeather158 To film while making a critical shot on a large game animal puts you in the same category,as those guys in Jack-A**. Tracking skills? OMFG, you're kidding right?! You didn't get that deer the same day I guarantee that. Now you've either got to kill it,or pick up a deer with rigor-mortis,and a cavity full of busted guts and blood. We're talking Coyote bait. I'll bet your dog would puke eating it. I've been around too long to listen to your CRAP. We're laughing at you. ALL OF US.

  • @Whitefeather158 Some people are just plain idiots. Hiding behind a key board. Nice video brother!

  • @Wad9591 Dude chill out, I'm sure if Whitefeather158 knew it was going to be a bad shot then he wouldnt have taken it, us hunters aren't psychic you know... Its not like every shot we take is gonna be in the ten ring alright

  • @Wad9591 a gut shot whooped d doo as long as it kills it its a good shot a bad shot is like shootin it in the ass

  • Looks like it was a gut shot. Your pounding heart made you make a terrible shot.

  • @HardRokMiner A combination of a pounding heart and videoing it all myself while I shot it. ;) Try it sometime!

  • @Whitefeather158 Did you actually hit the gut or was it a close call? Because it looks as if it was close *really close*, but didn't look like a gut shot. You defiantly got liver and maybe a small bit of lung. But other wise Great deer a good 2 1/2 - 3 year buck!

  • @MathewsSolocamHunter Guts/Liver. No lungs at all. We aged him at around 3 1/2.

  • @Whitefeather158 Man I bet that was fun having to clean him up! Wow 3 1/2 but I can see that because he was very weary! That's a smaller rack for here* Iowa*I have a 2-3 year old buck that has 146 inches on him. But don't let anyone say its small less than half of hunters out there haven't harvested/killed a mature whitetail buck over 100 inches!

  • @Whitefeather158 I think you made a reasonable quarter away shot(as evidenced by the fact that you killed and recovered it). I have had trouble with quartering shots and actually try to avoid them if i can. I much prefer a broadside shot. Can you tell me what the arrow looked like?

  • @peccleft64 The arrow was broken in half and the blood on it was really dark indicating a liver hit.

  • Glad you found it, after such horrible placement. Why did you wait till it started to walk away, instead of poking it when it was broadside and looking away?

  • what part of PA is this?

  • @halorules321 Beaver County

  • @Whitefeather158 im from allegheney county

  • @Whitefeather158 hey small world. i hunt lawrence/ mercer counties just north of there. and i agree with everyone below me. in this part of the state, theres so much hunting pressure that this is no doubt a trophy whitetail. good deer, and good shot man.

  • sorry dude but thats the worst damn shot I'v ever seen at a broadside deer at 5 yards lol. Nice buck but wow you should practice lol...

  • @phuckubish ...12 yards ;) The terrible shot was a combination of filming and shooting at the same time by myself. i cringed at the shot after I watched it on the camera, My cameraman was with his brother at the time somewhere else, but with the rut in full swing, I wasn't going to stay home.

  • after deer gone - what is next?

  • Not a very well placed shot! Looks like you have recovered a very nice buck though! Congrats.

  • Great Buck! We just got a nice 10 pointer at our camp here in the adirondack mountains of NY State a few days ago. I put a video up of it on my page.

  • Wow, "NICE SHOT" LOL

  • you never found that deer did you

  • @cj1011jc There's a link to the recovery at the end of the clip. Check it out. ;)

  • @KANONSIONNI Nope. The link for the follow up footage is near the end of this clip. Click it if you'd like to see it.

  • 0:32 Thumbs up if you sat still and held your breath?

  • was that a gut shot?? because of how quick it went i can't tell but it seems to have hit a little bit far back but still very nice buck man congrats.

  • @thejimmer1234 Guts/liver

  • why you shot the deer in the guts lol....you had a chance at the lungs dude

  • @punkghetto1 I still had a camera in my hand, as I was videoing my own hunt.

  • @Whitefeather158 good video dude. and as far as gutting shotting it watch the videp again the deer starts turing at 1:01 right before he shoots

  • @trand019 Exactly. I saw lungs as I made the decision to shoot, but saw him turning so tried to anticipate direction at the last second. The shakes don't help any either. ;)

  • @punkghetto1 Still had a camera in my right hand since I was filming and shooting at the same time. ;)

  • Dude I thought you were busted when he kept staring at you! Nice!

  • @smith45acp Thanks. I thought it was over as soon as he looked up.

  • nevermind..more like 110 inches after seeing the follow up..what did he score? and where in pa do you live? im up in warren county

  • @lungbuster22 You were closer with the first guess. He grossed 131 6/8's and netted 125 7/8's as scored from a P&Y scorer. I live in Ohio now, but formerly lived and shot him in Beaver County.

  • thats a giant for pennsylvania! prolly 130"+ it was a good shot if it was quartering away hard you prolly smoked him through the liver and lungs

  • Ify shot. Gut?

  • You are a horrible shot! you should give up the self filming and concentrate on the shot. People like you will never be allowed to hunt with me or on my property. A real hunter who respects the sport would have made that shot all you did was wound the buck. Good job!!!!!!

  • @AwNawBigSlimDawg As for hunting with you on your property, i'll pass. Don't see how I just wounded him.....he's hanging on my wall.

  • @Whitefeather158 So are you going to show it to us or do we just take your word for it? I sure don't see any buck on the ground in this video. All I see here is a shot taken much too late and an arrow in a nice buck's belly.

  • @crimdell I tried posting a link to the mounted deer picture, but it won't let me paste a url here like it used to. Check my other videos here and find one called Whitetail Ambush 2 DVD Intro and you'll see a few seconds of the follow up.

    youtube.com/watch?v=pIouhtlISrM

  • @Whitefeather158 I watched that video and saw several deer in it. It's obvious that you have video editing capability so why not take the applicable segment out of the Whitetail Ambush 2 DVD Intro video and add it to this one where it belongs? Otherwise you have an incomplete video.

  • @crimdell As requested....just add the rest of the url's beginning - youtube.com/watch?v=InVsALelGbk

  • @AwNawBigSlimDawg Yeah dumbass don't judge people until you know the whole story.

  • work on your shot

  • where do you live in Pa?

  • @fedge007 Live in Ohio now, but used to live in Beaver County - Midland.

  • Im going for my first buck ever with a crossbow this Saturday here in PA.

  • Opening bow this friday baby!

  • you waited too long...

  • how did you gut shoot it at such short range.... learn to control your emotions a bit better...

  • @midwick3d by running a camera and shooting a bow at the same time.

  • Ive tried self filming and to be able to shoot a buck like that on camera by yourself is amazing. congrats

  • "After a season of seeing nothing but 4 points 6 points and spikes, right here is were my heart jumped out of my chest" well damn we can all see that your shakin like a tomcat on cocaine

  • Connard

  • Just shot the biggest buck in your life? Shooting and recovering are two different things. Based on the shot placement I'd bet "shooting" was all that occurred in this story! Whoopy do!

  • @WSGAC

  • @WSGAC Go into my videos and look for Whitetail Ambush 2 DVD intro for some of the recovery wise guy

  • Ive never ever had a deer look at me,unless im under 25 feet. Nice one though, great feeling.

  • @casey197930 I think I was only about 15 feet or so in the tree. It was an adrenaline rush for sure.

  • shot was a bit back..hope u had a good recovery

  • Nice Gutshot!

  • bad shot gut shot

  • i deer cant really see u in a tree they just see the outline of u they have poor eye site thats why ppl can hunt with blue jeans bright orange and yellow bows and srting and stuff its just when u move

  • @Johnnyboy5858 deer defiantly do not have bad eye sight. they see everything in one colour but have very acute eyesight and are very good at picking out patterns

  • that buck had that look on his face"hey buddy whats that you got in your hand" thump.

  • @62rome "Hey Joe, where you goin' with that gun in your hand"

    Deer/jimi-

  • so what are yo supposed to do when he looks right at you?

  • @jtschid0910 Try not to maintain eye contact and don't move a muscle until he turns his head. Also lots of praying. :)

  • ah man that was a perfect time to shoot but the placement was bad

  • I am looking for the videos, where the post mortal muscular activity of the animals can be observed.

It is for research for both human and vet medicine.

The most interesting are the CLONIC CONVULSIONS - the rythmical movements or shakes of bigger muscles, when the brain is destroyed.

Especially the convulsions in hind legs.

Preferred are bigger muscular animals, such as cows, horses, deers, or kangaroos, where the muscles are easy to watch.

  • My son shot the new #1 SCI Mexican Whitetail World Record last December: 188 5/8 Typical and we aged him at 7. Yes, there are big deer in Mexico.

  • the shot really isnt terrible if you didnt notice there is a steep quartering away angle so the arrow angled up into at least the liver he might have even hit 1 lung

  • Gut shot behind the ribcage

  • I'm a trophy hunter screw the meat I want the REAL shit

  • u waited too long man

  • haha gotta be a good hunter for him to look right at you good job little bit of a trickey shot too

  • oh my goodness it looks right at the camera at :42

  • Great footage, bad shot. Nice filming though.

  • i cant wait for hunting season either

  • hey man i need a stand.. whats the cheapest but a pretty good stand?

  • why does the deer just stare at u but not notice that your there?

  • @aswam444 Good camo and no movement at all. I had strips of camo sewed to the suit similar to a gillie suit to break up my outline.

  • @Whitefeather158 ahhhh

  • @aswam444 Deer can tell when something is different so they are looking to see wat it is, they are very curious animals and only are spooked when they see movement or smell you.

  • it was cute lol

  • Bad shots happen to everyone. Good to see you state you didn't give up on tracking him.

  • my heart started racing when i seen the buck, i also took the same shot and did not recover, hit em up in the shoulder, couldnt sleep all night, damn i cant wait for huntin season!!

  • Ouch that was a tough shot. I've done the same thing and sadly didn't recover mine. Got to hate knowing 1/2 second earlier and you would have had a 50-60 yard trailing job. No video of the recovery?

  • @bandmasterjf Videoed the recovery, but didn't add it here. You can see some of the recovery on our Whitetail Ambush 2 Intro clip on Youtube.

  • Appeared that the deer was shot from the left & filmed from the right ?

  • WOW I have never seen a deer look up into a tree like that. Really cool. Bad shots happen every now and then dont let it bother you. Just take it like a man and practice more. Nice buck!

  • Gun hunter all my life---just got my first bow. Any tips on practice ? I want to get really good this summer. Last thing I want to do is wound an animal

  • Alright!!!

  • Don't mean to bother you, but did you recover it? I know that a shot like this requires one heck of a tracking job and a lot of patience. Nice buck.

  • Yes, it was recovered the following morning ater a grueling 1200 yard tracking job. I learned a ton tracking him.

  • Horrible shot! I grimaced when I saw where you hit him. Try aiming for the far front leg next time. Just my .02

  • Think I knew that already. lol I had a little trouble videoing and shooting it at the same time. I grimaced too once I reviewed the footage.

  • @ BabyBirdWispers !!! its called life !! man have been doing it for years !!! i would love to see the meat in the freezer then dead on the side of the road or dieing cause there no food or water of haveing CWD !! so you are tell me you would go out in the woods and start b*tching at bears, coyotes, wolves for killing deer !?! and oyeah you need to double check you spelling !!!!

  • Comment removed

  • How cuold you take the lives away of such beautiful animals so you can have their head on a wall. I have had der as pets for years, some came in when hunters had bad shots and others from deer farms. They have lives, soals, feeings, and a family. How could you ruin their lives?

  • I have a family also. There are 7 of us living here and they eat every morsel of meat I bring home. Venison doesn't make up 100 percent of our daily intake, but it cuts down on other food expenses. We'll take venison for a meat over beef anyday in THIS house!

It's not just about trophies on a wall.

If God didn't want us to eat them....he wouldn't have made them out of meat!

  • @Whitefeather158

If you hunt to feed your family (what I don't believe, but that's another point), why do you use this cruel way of hunting? Why don't you kill the deer immediately with a good shot?

I think you only hunt because you enjoy it to kill a living being.

  • @BabyBirdWispers You spelled souls wrong. :) and Whitefeather158 is right, its not only about getting trophies on a wall, its about saving money and providing food for the family.

  • @Svonavje you don't kill things like a maniac to eat

  • @iLikeBondage69 Why not?

  • @Whitefeather158 do i really need it explain why you can't kill things like a maniac?

i don't think you would like to be hunted, would you?

  • @iLikeBondage69 Please do.

  • @Whitefeather158 you want to be hunted? you really are sick.

  • Plus if deer werent managed you and i would all prolly be dead from car accidents

  • Ugh i hate when them big bucks come so close and look strait up at u... i could of had a 12 point buck but it looked strait at me at 35 yards.. i was so pissed

  • atleast he's down. terrible shot.. but thats all you could do.. nice hunt.. congrats

  • Good footage man! Nice PA buck. Bet your heart was poundin when he looked up at u, I hate when they do that!!!

  • what did ya wait so long for ? then he spots you above him and you decide to shoot after he has turned to go back

  • I still had the video camera in one hand and the bow in the other at the time you're speaking of since I was both filming and hunting solo.

  • oh ok id never be able to do that .seams to hard. to many things to go wrong when mr big is standing in front of you. what did that 10 pt score and what part of pa u hunt?

  • He grossed 131 6/8's and netted 125 7/8's, just making the book. He was shot in Beaver County, near the West Virginia state line.

  • wow he treed you man that would of been intense! nice shot though good video

  • I will be hunting this Friday.Hope to see you, but you will not see me,,but you will feel me...Normal i never would gut shot an animal but for you i will put a muzzy in your belly..How does that sound to you Brillow Head

  • I will be hunting this Friday,Hope to see you in the woods....normally i would never gut shot an animal but for you i will put muzzy in your belly .......I will also bring my shovel .sound good to you Brillow Head

  • awesome deer, and who says PA don't have any nice deer? lol

  • You hunt and murder lovely and strong deer?

Well I have news for you:

On fridays Black Predators jump on their cars and go hunting for White people, men women and Children are killed by them all over America.

Is this retribution for your killing of innocent animals?

  • Well it's a damn good thing today is Monday!!! lmao

  • @Whitefeather158 lmao fuckin ay

  • @Antonioni123

You're stupid. I bet you are unaware that if deer weren't hunted, they would be overpopulated and dying in mass quantities of disease and starvation. Just another tree-hugger..great job Whitefeather158, and congrats on a beautiful deer!

  • @Antonioni123

and i got news for you on martin luther king day white ppl go out and kill dip shits like you!

nobody gives a shit about your say in hunting. He shot it its dead what can you excatly do? nothing so stfu!
